Fangs Confession

        It was a couple years in the past that only some could tell this tale. While the village was still being developed many of the new people were settling in while also many others stayed since the very beginning of time. Nathan the cat just recently moved into his new apartment filling up his place with his video games, collections and all his other belongings. In the distance a familiar dragon wanted to meet him, this was Fang of course, who happily helped him move all his boxes, furniture, and even ask Nathan later on if they wanted to grab a snack at a good cafe downtown. After the two had finished moving in, the dragon noticed someone watering the flower beds all alone doing his best to make sure each and every flower was blooming up and no other bugs were eating any of them. "There he is again, our local gardener, Sparky the Raptor, he's not much of a talker but he does so much of taking care of all these flowers every year. Every time I see him it just makes me feel upset. He is the only one doing the plants in this village." Fang said while sitting on a chair outside the cafe. "He will not be for long, Shnun, who I guess is your guy's mayor said I will be the one to help him out and hopefully get him out of his comfort zone." Nathan replies back with a sip of his tea.

As Sparky kept on doing his planting he heard something or someone call his name. "Raptor....yes you...come down into Mount Glacier...you know the one with the crystals and the cold waters..." said this unknown voice but he shook his head before then he jumped scared by Nathan saying a "Hello" to him. "AH! Gosh do not do that to me!" Sparky yelled back. "You okay sir, I am sorry I scared you like that but just listen to me. I get we really just started so let me-" Nathan was about to ramble on till Sparky stood up then gave him a do-to list. "-oh....got it okay I will handle those beds while you...um keep going then. Again sorry if you did not hear my name but I am Nathan it is a pleasure to work with you." He said scratching the back of his head then puts on his sun hat. Sparky gives him a nod then goes back to what he was working on then again was hearing that same unknown voice again. "You know...you want to know about your past...why you were left all alone as a baby...you did not even get the chance to see any one of your closest family members...the only way is to listen to me and follow my lead....go to Mount Glacier....find the cave with the crystals and the cold water below...trust me...Sparky." Sparky shook his head feeling whatever this was a ghost or something kept on saying it over and over again. By the time the sun had settled down both boys finished up then headed back to the post to put away the gardening supplies. "I heard from one of the locals that your name is Sparky correct? Do you do anything else outside of your work?" Nathan asked, taking the big bags of soil back into the shed. "Not often although I do just like to stargaze alone...just thinking about my...life." Sparky said slowly feeling a headache after another long hot day in the summertime. Nathan sees him then gives him his bottle of water beside Sparky. "Go ahead you can finish the rest. I got more back at my new apartment. You should maybe stay hydrated, take some breaks, and just relax from time to time." He said unloading the rest of the gear like shovels, ploves, and rakes. Sparky slowly takes a drink of the water then sets it down before he takes off his gloves then waves goodbye to Nathan.

On his way walking back home he hears that same voice then something feeling inside his chest. "I told you....just go to Mount Glacier...why are you still in the same runt, Raptor? You know you can not escape from us...we know your family's tree and powers...just give up...and give back to us now." the voice said then a blue-ish color creature on four hooves, has a devil's tail, wings, and horns on his head looking like a goat. He goes out of the bushes then smiles at Sparky. "N-No not you...Ryder...get away you Jersey Devil!" Sparky yells at him. "You can not fight little one...you know this for a fact...now let's go for a walk shall we? Unless you tell me where the pendant is." Ryder said walking to him with a grin and looking into Sparky's eyes trying to hypnotize him. "I....I can not tell...y-you...your kind does not need to-" suddenly Ryder pushes Sparky up against one of the rocks with his long sharp horns on his head. "TELL ME! Where is it, you're the God of this village! If I have to kill every villager, new and old to find it I will, for my master!" Ryder shouts, pushing one of his hooves on Sparky's chest and scrapping it into a cut. A sudden pull back was taken as Sparky catches his breath while looking up to see Fang holding down Ryder and throwing many punches. "Stop it you crazy monster! Leave the Raptor alone!" Fang yelled then breaks one of the wings from the Jersey Devil as he roars out a loud yell then using his darkness spell casing blinding Fang's vision for a second then sees Sparky coughing up and seeing he is bleeding a little bit from the hooves scratch on his chest.
