I miss my dad.
I sigh while slowly unpacking my room. A whole new town and in three days, I start a whole new school. It's hard starting a new school in general but to start one in the middle of the year and to be a senior is even harder.
"Hey sweetie, I have to head into work."
"Of course you do."
Since my father passed six months ago, my mother, Linder Sparks, has buried herself into her work. Hardly ever home and takes as much business trips as she can, She is a journalist. Now she has taken on a promotion, and it comes with her travelling around the world to check out hot spots and fancy new hotels.
