Kirumi's POV I woke up to the birds chirping outside of my bedroom window. I looked over and saw my boyfriend sleeping peacefully with his green hair sticking up in various directions. I got up carefully and threw on some pants and one of his hoodies. I went to the kitchen to prepare him some breakfast since it was his birthday after all. It took me 15 minutes or less to make him a frappuccino and some strawberry pancakes. I walked back into our room and set the tray down to wake him up. "Taro~ Wake up honey." I slightly shook him. He stirred and opened his eyes to look at me. "Good morning Kiwi." He grumbled sitting up. "Good morning" I said bringing the tray of food over to him. "Happy birthday Rantaro." I kissed his cheek. "Thank you Kiwi." He said eating pancakes.
"What do you plan on doing today?" I asked him putting butterfly clips in his hair. "I don't know. Lay here with you all day?" He laughed. "As fun as that sounds I got us tickets to a movie today." He turned around to look at me. "You didn't have to do that Kiwi." "I know but I wanted to. We haven't been out much since the incident and I thought why not." He hugged me and mumbled thank you.
Rantaro's POV "Babe you ready?" Kirumi yelled from the kitchen. "Just about so" I said. A few seconds later she came in with a faded dark peachy dress on. "What's wrong?" She asked. "Nothing. Just need this." I kissed her nose leaving her with a faint blush on her face. She laughed. "Come on you idiot." She said intertwining her fingers with mine.

After the movie was over we went to a small aquarium. I was spacing out when a cold wet substance splashed me. I turned around to see my girlfriend laughing at me and petting a seal. "Hah hah very funny." I said. "Here you go sweetheart." She said holding her stomach. I walked over to her and hugged her tightly. "Rantaro! Get off me!" She said giggling and wiggling to get out of my grip. I let her go after a while and we said goodbye to the seal and went home.
We were at home on the couch cuddling watching stranger thing. "I had fun today." I told her. "So did I. Especially the part where you got splashed." She giggled. I rolled my eyes at her. After a while I noticed her asleep on my shoulder. I kissed her fore head and put the cover over put us. "Thank you for the birthday date Kirumi. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my time." I thought about todays events and dozed off.
