"oh my god y/n! Are you on that app again?" My best friend asked. I chuckled nervously and put my phone in my back pocket. "Yes Paige, I am" I said with a grin. She rolled her eyes. "Pinterest isn't going to define your life." She said. "No, but it's gonna help me plan my life for me and my future boyfriend." I said and we both laughed. "Oh y/n I can't wait for you to get a boyfriend." She said. I grinned. "Dude, I'm so shy, there is no way I'm getting one. I'll just stay fantasising." I said. "No! Your 17 and haven't had your first kiss yet!" Paige said. I shrugged. "I don't care." I lied. I did care. But... "Oh shut up. Here's my prediction..." she said, grabbing my arm. "The next guy to walk around the corner is going to be your first kiss" she said. I rolled my eyes. "Come on Paige, were in high school, not preschool" I said "Just trust it." She said. I sighed and looked at the corner. I waited and suddenly the smiley face of my guy best friend, Jaden, appeared. "Bingo!" Paige said "Ew, no way." I said "It's not impossible y/n!" She said "Yeah, but he's got 1000 other hot girls at his feet. He's never gonna kiss me, besides he's like my brother." I said. "Wassup y/n." I heard his voice say. I turned around and smiled. "Hey Jay." I said. I saw Paige smirk and I mentally rolled my eyes. "Hey Jaden." Some girl said as she walked past, batting her eyelashes. Jaden is soooooooooooo popular at our school. I sometimes question why he's my best friend, I'm a loser. But I'm great guy for him. "Gross" he said. "You love all the attention you get." I said, chuckling. He shrugged and smirked. He's a sucker for popularity. "Wanna head to class?" He asked. I nodded and picked up my backpack. "I'll catch you later Paige." I said she nodded. "Have fun." She said with a smirk. "Shut upppppp!" I groaned and me and Jaden walked off.
"What was that about?" He asked "Nothing." I said, my face burning up if embarrassment
"Damn Hossler, walking in with a different girl everyday." One of Jaden's friends called as we walked into class. "And this time it's y/n Brooke. Wow, I knew he would go for her one day." Another said. That annoyed me for some reason. I slammed my hands on to the desk and glared at them. "Knock it off!" I hissed. They all smirked. In front of me was Bryce Hall, Nick Austin and Josh Richards. "Make is baby." Nick said. I rolled my eyes and walked of, taking my seat.
"Ok, class dismissed." Our teachers voice echoed through the class. I sighed in relief and grabbed my bag. "Brooke." I heard a deep voice say. I looked up and saw the one and only Bryce Hall in front of me. "Hall." I said, putting my bag over my shoulder. "Wanna go out tonight?" He asked, leaning against the wall. "This is the 3rd time you've asked me." I said. "3rd time lucky?" He asked with a smirk. "Ummmmmm... no." I said, returning a smirk. He sighed. "I'll wait until your ready, y/n." He said "Thanks Bryce." I said. He smiled and walked off. I'm never gonna 'be ready'. Not for him anyway. "Oh. And Bryce?" I said, stopping him just before he walked. He looked at me. "When are you gonna tell your little boyfriends about this?" I asked, he smirked and walked off. He Hasn't told anyone that he keeps asking me out. It's 'our little secret' as he calls it. I chuckled and walked out of class.
"Y/n oh my god." Paige said, running up to me. "Hey." I said, chuckling "I just overheard Bryce talking to someone on the phone about you." She said. I raised my eyebrows. I saw Bryce wink at me behind Paige before disappearing around the corner. Ugh. "Think is so good! Maybe he'd be your first kiss!" She said as we began walking. Not this again. "I hope not." I said, biting the skin on my bottom lip.
As we sat down in the cafeteria, I made eye contact with Jaden. He flashed me a cheesy grin, which of course I returned. He then nodded towards Bryce and wiggled his eyebrows. I rolled my eyes and returned back to Paige. "I'm still sticking by Jaden being your first kiss." She said. "Oh my god can we just talk about something else other than me!" I said. She chuckled. "Ok fine."

"Ok, see ya later." I said to Jaden as he walked into his house. I carried on walking as I lived a little further down on Jaden's street.
I slumped down on my bed and sighed. Why is Paige so obsessed with my first kiss? Surely it's not that big of a deal... I felt my phone buzz and I pulled it out of my pocket, looking at the notification.
