Chapter 1

Chapter 1: The Backstory

As I looked into his eyes, the blue and green streeks all over made his eyes so dazzling. He was staring into my eyes and all I wanted to do was kiss him....

But lets start from the beginning;

My mom was bestfriends with Pam, through all of this my mom and pam and kids. The kids were always friends, of course since they grew up with eachother. Thoses kids were me Kaden Brooks and my bestfriend, more like sister Katie D'Souza. Over the years Katie started to be called kate, we did everything together after all we were only 2 years apart.

We went to the same school and loved the summer road trips spent with our families. one day when Kate and I were wandering off on one of our road trips we saw a really cool summer camp, The North Cabin's Summer Camp to be exsact. We feel in love with it the pretty trees and beautiful veiw, what else could we have wanted? at least at age 10 and 12. The summer camp was opening next summer and we knew exsactly what we need to do!

"No!" My mom yelled, "please, we promise we will be good" Kate and I said making puppy dog eyes. "we'll thnk about it" Pam said as she then left our room. we knew that, that meant we would need to be good for the rest of the school year so they let us go. Kate and I weren't trouble makers most of the time but we were young and like doing things we weren't supposed to, so we knew this would be a challenge.

We spent most of the school year not getting into to much trouble and were proud of our little selves. Summer was just around the corner and if you though Kate and I had forgotten about The North Cabin's Summer Camp, you were wrong! We had a plan that required a lot of stragety...begging!

After a whole hour of pleading we finally were told that we could go. We were exstatic and had to get packing right away!

When we arrived it was much more than we remembered. The smell and the trees were the same, but there was cabins! They looked amazing and were made out of logs, the dinning room was just a bigger looking cabin with grass and trees around it. There was some paved places, but there was mostly grass and big tall trees. we could see a sand pit and the lake sectioned off with wood to form a pool like structure.

We got assigned into our rooms, me and Kate were in the same room. We made new friends like this girl named Rebecka (Becka) Grey she was so nice and had blonde hair with brown eyes. But there was one person that cought my attention, he had blonde wavy hair and green-blue eyes that were goregous. He was tall and broad, and I knew from the moment I saw him he would be mine!

Days passed and I could never talk to him, I only saw a few times and when I did he was eating a soy butter sandwhich. I didnt even know mistery boys name so, Kate, Becka and I called him Soyboy. Later to find out was it really means...but our councellour knew him and we finally found out who mistery boy was; Alex.

I could never bulid up any courage to say anythng to him, untill this one time. Alex was putting away cups from his group and dropped one and said thankyou to me, I said you're wellcome. I know now that its not that bing of a deal but back then I thought it was.

Camp came to and end and we finally hand to say bye to each other, but I couldn't bulid up the courge to talk to my mistery boy, Alex. I took one last look at him before I hopped on the bus and headed home.

A year later I had DMed him on instagram, I know it was like magic on how I found his instagram, but I guess fate is funny like that. I found out a lot about him during our conversations, his full name is Alex Soyer, he has a sister, is 2 years older than me, ect.. It was like a movie was I finally going to get my hapily ever after?

Of course I wasn't, you think girls like me do? Nope. I don't live in a fairy tale or movie, i would love to but I just don't.

He broke my heart like all guys do. I know I was annoying but he didn't need to tell that to other people if he was just honest than I would have been happy to just leave him alone. He ended up blocking me but even though I was heart broken I knew that it doesn't matter because he was a peice of shit!

Kate and I hated him, but I knew deep down that i forgave him and still cared about him. After all he was my first love.
