Trapped

There is a woman trapped in a forest.
No one can hear her screaming for help or her calling out for them.
She's trapped inside a deep forest far far from home.
She's trying to find a way out but can't.
She's tired and stressed, no longer wanting to carry on this daily hassle.
There is a woman trapped in a forest.

She sees a light and runs toward it.
The light grows fainter as she gets closer.
So she calls out to it.
The light grows fainter then fades and disappears.

She cries, but no one can hear her.
She wants someone to bring her home from the awful nightmare.
She struggles to survive and can't get a break.
She screams, " WHY ME!", but there is no reply.

She hates it here in the forest; it's lonely and confusing.
Everywhere she goes the path takes her nowhere.
She tries a different way but there is none.
Another light. Will it take her home?

She follows it continuously as she gets a strange feeling.
She realizes the light will fade and slows down not trusting it.
As she follows the path towards the light, it doesn't fade or disappear.
She grows skeptical waiting for it to go away like the rest.

She reaches the light, and she sees a man glowing and smiling.
She touches him to see if it's only a delusion or a trick, but she feels flesh.
She smiles at first and is excited for the company she longed for.
He tells her he will never leave her and always be by her side.

They spend years together wandering the forest  for answers.
The man never leaves her side, always with her and helping her.
They see another light and run towards it as fast as they can.
They reached the light finally with smiles, but the smiles soon turned into frowns.

Only one of them can escape the forest; the man looks at her and smiles.
He hugs her and pushes her through with a tear in his eye.
She looks at him one last time while screaming for him, hands out to grab him.
She wakes up in reality sadly knowing he's stuck there alone.

There was a woman trapped in a forest.
He smiles with tearful eyes knowing she's happy now.
Free from the cruel forest that had her trapped.
He whispers to himself, " I'll always love you."
She's gone now, and now he is alone knowing he can't leave the forest.
There is a man trapped in a forest.
