"you'll be fine right? here's some cash for a cab! ring me if something goes wrong!"
yup, there she goes. typical taylor just leaving me for her ratchet ass friends. why does she even like them she's so nice and yet, she prefers them. "what is with her" i mumble.
"heyyaaa hot stuff" a booze ridden man slid his slimy arm around my waist.
ugh gross! "hey do you mind?" he didn't let up.
"no, i don't! why don't wweee-" he paused to burp "take this up theree? huhh??"
he pointed towards a set of stairs, his smirk would make any woman sick.
"listen buddy i have a boyfriend! that's him there, waiting at the bar! the blonde??" i pointed towards the bar convincingly. what is it with gross drunk guys hitting on me tonight anyways? i am at most a solid 6.
"hng well damn gurll- i don't- see the problem!" his breath reeked.
"k pal i'm done i'm going to my boyfriend"
"whatever hotness... your loss-"
gross.
ok that's one problem done, now to drink the rest away!
i made my way towards the counter to order some drinks.
"uh just a shot of whiskey please"
i downed it in an instant and before i knew it i started losing count.
the floor is definitely looking a little dangerous to walk now. welp i'm sure finding a cab shouldn't be too hard! specially since i can't remember why i came here. hah just a little sarcasm to make myself laugh.
i started stumbling towards the door. a few guys tried sliding in my way but i just aggressively nudged them away.
i managed my way outside but fell over and scraped my knee on the concrete, god i can't tell if it hurts or not.
i got up "hey um sir- taxi guy! mind helping please? my house-" i winced quietly at knee.
"sorry ma'am i'm full!" he drove off with a cab full of possibly drunk minors but that didn't bother you. what did was the light rain.
"damn i didn't dress for this" you mumble and moan as you set yourself straight. every rain drop feeling cold on your exposed shoulders.
"tch why's it so cold now! hnggg, this blows" i bend down feeling defeated. i remember why i came here. my ex best friend josh tried something on me, never in a million years would i take him for that kind of guy. ugh and just as i started forgetting. it wasn't just the rain wetting my cheeks anymore.
multiple people have walked in and out of the bar. i've been sitting here under the cover outside the door for what's felt like forever.
since i felt myself sobering up i slowly started making my way back through the door.
"hey cutie, you've been out here for a while and you're not in exactly the best shape. i don't think going back in is a good idea" someone respectfully put their hand in mine.
"listen i don't need help! especially not from a guy" i yanked my hand away he just looked at me.
"love i'm not hitting on you, you've delt with enough of that tonight" he slowly took me back outside and started looking for a cab.
"jeez you must be freezing- hang on" the stranger took of his hoodie revealing big crimson blurs and let me wear it.
"i'm fine really, that's ok"
he didn't buy it so he just put it over me.
"hey- i'm ok!"
"yeah right, i've heard that before" as he pulled it over my head we locked eyes for a moment. he looks so familiar? i can't put a finger on it.
"there, see now you don't have to feel like it's the end of the world!" i put the hood on to protect myself from the rain, pff weirdo nobody's this nice anymore. not genuinely anyways.
"ah i don't see any cabs round love, mind telling me where you live?"
i gave him a look of disbelief he did not just-
"you have nothing to worry about i don't bite" he gave a sly wink as he stepped into the dim streetlight. i don't know if it was the beer or the tears in my eyes but i can't believe i didn't notice what those huge red things were before.
wings.
"oh, you're uh-"
you're joking, right?
"huh you recognise me, that makes things easier then! well if you're not going to tell me where you live i guess i'll just have to take you to my place"
he took my hand in his,
"don't worry doll, it's in my best interest you don't feel uncomfortable"
