The sun was shining down on Pontypandy covering everyone in it's warmth. Sam swiftly arose from bed and stretched his arms. It was another perfect day to save the people of Pontypandy. Sam was the hero of the town and he was going to stay that way.
Sam grabbed his brush and began to brush his smooth, ginger hair. In order to be a hero, he must look like a hero. He took pride in what he does. After all, without him what would Pontypandy be? Trash. That's would it be.
After spending two hours getting ready, Sam left the house nice and early at 9am. He had to maintain his reputation of being the 'golden boy'. He nonchalantly walked down the quiet streets until he arrived at his destination.
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a keyring full of many different keys - each of these keys holding a different secret within them. He ran his fingers through them until he found a small, silver key. That's the one. He pushed it into the key hole and slowly turned it. Once the door was open, he removed the key and entered the fire station.
The fire station was always so quiet in the mornings. No one was to be seen and everything was in its place. That's the way he liked it. In all honesty, his 'nice' side was a front he put up with everybody else. He had to maintain his role one way or another. However, having to be around them 24/7 would definitely blow his cover.
He approached the kitchen and turned the kettle on. Like any other human, Sam needed tea to function. After a solid five minutes, he managed to make the tea and sat down at the table to drink it whilst reading a magazine.
As he drank his tea, the door burst open. Sam new immediately who it was - it was the one and only dramatic Elvis. In walked Elvis, guitar in hand, hair slicked back and with his signature walk. Sam quickly looked away and Elvis turned to look at him. Elvis had a really intense stare and it never failed to make him blush. Unfortunately for Sam, he had liked Elvis for a very long time but Elvis was too oblivious to pick up on it.
"Morning Sam" said Elvis in his usual husky voice. Sam felt a chill run down his spine as he heard his voice. Elvis, he really was the only man to make him feel this way.
"oh hey Elvis. How are you this morning?" replied Sam trying to hide the nervousness in his voice to the best of his ability.
" I'm really hyped! I don't know if you remember, but I got a show tonight. I can't wait to show off my awesome guitar skills!" said Elvis very enthusiastically. Sam felt a heat rush to his cheeks. Seeing Elvis so enthusiastic made his heart melt - it was an adorable sight.
"Of course I remember. I hope it goes well" blurted out Sam as he quickly exited the room to save himself from further embarrassment. He could feel his heart exploding in his chest. He had never felt like this in his life. What was he going to do?
