Fong talked with his parents for a while, after that, he came out of the bathroom and noticed that Sarawat was waiting for him near Tine who was sleeping.
"So? what did they say?" Sarawat asked excited
"Well, do you remember that the last time I talked with them they said that there was a quarantine in the whole city? Well... it looks like it got worse, some groups occupied the squares and some other are waiting outside the royal palace... it looks like our country is on the edge of a revolution..." Fong explained
"Now the departure of the army around the campus makes sense... but it also means that we still can't leave the campus, right?"
"Yeah... or at least I think so, some other students told me that the police and the army as well keep shooting... no one is supposed to leave their homes... do you even imagine what could happen if some students try to leave the campus?" Fong added
"oh my God... that would be a massacre... the main issue is that there's no power in the university to stop the students... how can we avoid it?" Sarawat asked
"What does it mean that we cannot leave!? The army is gone! We're free!" a freshman shouted as he reached the gate
"Free? Do you believe that you're free? There are no seniors that can grant assistance, there are just freshmen... and the rest of the university, and guess what does it mean? It means that you and your friends can't do anything to change things, you won't be able to leave the complex, you will stay here until we decide that you can go back to your houses! Clear?!" a bully shouted
the other students didn't know what to do when the bullies started beating the freshman up.
King closed the courtain of his room and sighed, Ram looked at him confused but King felt like he was judging him so King said:
"Don't look at me like that... you know that we can't do anything... you should be glad that I helped you... the others will believe that you're here just to serve me like the other freshmen of the faculty... but at least you will be safe... you could at least thank me, don't you think so?"
Ram stared at him and then he looked away sighing
"tell something at least! Do you know how a converstation works? I start talking about a topic and you reply... then it continues like that until it is over, I don't understand why you keep making things so difficult..."
Ram of course did't reply, his face didn't show the slightest changement of expression, King kept thinking about why his roommate was silent like a monk, a trauma? He doesn't know what to say?
"FOR GOD'S SAKE WHY DON'T YOU TALK TO ME!?" King shouted annoyed, Ram started chuckling and at the end he replied:
"Sorry P... but it is too funny to look at someone like you, you just keep posing questions and then answering on your own... your cute head will explode if you continue like this"
