A Glimpse of Hope (Hayes Series 1)

CHAPTER I

"I think I need to find job asap."

Hush just give me a strange look. We are in small cafe here in QC. We just decided to went here to have a talk about various things.

"Why sissy? Don't you have enough money?" Hush asked.

"Meron pa naman pero habang naghihintay pa ako ng tawag ng mga kompanya na pinag-aplayan ko, gusto ko sanang aliwin muna ang sarili ko sa ibang bagay at para na rin makatulong ako sa mga gastusin sa bahay." I said while sipping the tip of this straw I was using. I was drinking iced coffee.

"Saan ka naman maghahanap ng trabaho riyan?"

"There's a lot of work there. I just want sana 'yung madali lang. Uhm maybe mga restaurant gano'n or a cafe like this. Siguro maging cashier ako or something related to my course."

"'Yung isang Certified Public Accountant magiging Cashier muna for a while, gano'n ba Aena?" She just chuckled and sliced a piece of cake on her plate before entered it into her mouth.

"Pwede naman. There is no problem with that. Hey sissy, it is decent joh ha!" Paghampas ko sa kanyang braso nang marahan.

"Whatever," she rolled her eyes before she get her phone in the surface of this table.

"E ikaw Hush, what's your plan?" I asked her.

"Hunting boys! Fucking boys gano'n!" Then she just laughing while eating.

Hindi na ako nagulat do'n! She was always like that!

"Baka mamaya niyan mabuntis ka, sige ka. Magiging batang nanay ka na n'yan."

"I'm not young Aena and of course, I'm taking pills so I wouldn't be pregnant. Tsaka I have condom rn."

"Magseryoso ka na kasi ng lalaki."

"You know naman I hate guys! Problema lang sila sa buhay ko."

"Tsk. Kapag ikaw nainlove, tatawanan talaga kita."

"As if it would be happen." She just rolled her eyes again and crossed her arms over her chest.

"Will see, someday!" I just laughed and continued eating.

Hush is Hush. She hates guys but she loves flirting and fucking them. She doesn't have serious boyfriend. Ever. All she wants are to fuck and leave them instantly.

While me? I am opposite of my bestfriend. Really opposite. I don't like fucking mens. Iniisip ko pa lang, nadidiri na ako.

"Hush paano mo nakakaya 'yung ginagawa mo? Hindi ka ba nadidiri sa ginagawa mo?" She just let out a light laugh.

"Why would I? Alam mo sissy, you can try it sometimes. It's like you are really in heaven. Amazing and delicious." Pahawak-hawak pa siya sa labi niya noong sinasabi iyon.

"Oh no, no, hindi ko kailanman itatry 'yon."

Mali atang naitanong ko pa 'yon! Mygosh! Hindi ko siya kinakaya!

"Asus. What if magkaroon ka ng boyfriend? Hindi kayo magkakainan? Boring 'yung gano'n sa isang relationship sissy! Sinasabi ko sa ‘yo!" I covered her mouth of my one hand.

"Ano ba sissy alisin mo nga 'yang kamay mo, ang baho e," my brows furrowed and let go my hand on his mouth.

I immediately smelled my palm because of what she had uttered.
