My heart weeps
For the one I loved
My heart pants
For the one I'll love
Terrified I was
By the Enormous monster
One set upon me
By my dearest accuser
I was ripped
I am caged
I was hit
I am maimed
Yet will I rise
And Great will I be
My kingdom, arise!
As Queen, I shall be
Prissy and priceless, I'll be
Affluence in richness, I'll bring
Victory in justice, I'll see
In beauty and peace, I'll sing
I am Nigeria
I love you
