Hey guys! This is the first book I have ever written so please comment on any changes you see need to be made and give me some constructive criticism. Maybe you could give me some ideas for future chapters as you read the book.

If people read this then I will post other chapters and continue on with this book.

If people do end up reading this I will try to make installments for the book every other week, but I'm not the fastest typer or writer so if you see I didn't make an Installment for that week (I will mainly post on Wednesdays) then please feel free to message me and tell me or ask me why I didn't post. That is if you are  even interested. Most likely if I can't post or will be late on posting I will post an announcement on my page saying that I will be posting late or skipping the post overall for that week. So keep a look out for announcements or installments for the book and please give me feedback. I am completely open to suggestions and constructive criticism.

Enjoy the book! I hope you like it since it's my first attempt. :) <3

"Harper, what the heck is this!" Taylor shouted through my bathroom door. I quickly threw on my ripped jeans and black tank top, not wearing a bra, because if your chest is none existent, like mine, you know you don't need one, and walked out of the bathroom. As I did I threw my long, honey blonde hair up in a messing bun and pulled out the baby hairs. I looked at Taylor who was holding the unopened condom that she found on my night stand in her hand. I laughed lightly grabbing it out of her hand, "That's a story Benet will want to hear. I'll tell you on the way to school." I said and she sighed and threw my grey cardigan at me I grabbed it and shrugged it on and threw the condom in the small trash bin on my way out of my room with Taylor directly behind me on my heels.

Taylor is my best friend, her and I have known each other since the second grade when I moved here, to Virginia. I moved from California, where I lived on the ocean, to here in a small enclosed community. Taylor is a very petite girl with short, dark, blonde hair, just a little lighter than my hair though, and rare, but beautiful, pale violet eyes. This is also where I met Benet, my other best friend, he has dark red, almost brown, hair and hazel eyes. He lives next door to me, and Taylor lives across the street and two doors down. Me and Benet have been best friends ever since I moved and that's it, just best friends. That's why when we ended up dating we didn't work out. Before we dated though we had agreed that if we didn't work out we would remain friends, and to this day we have kept that promise to stay friend with each other and there was no hard feelings when we broke up.

"Hey kiddo," my dad said as I walked down the two flights of stair to get to the kitchen. "Hey!" I replied.

"So what's for breakfast in the Meyers house hold?" Taylor asked sitting down next to Will, my annoying little brother, at the counter. "Wouldn't you like to know?" Will responded squinting his eyes and glaring at Taylor.

"Doesn't your family feed you Taylor?" my dad asked, his shoulders shaking a little with laughter.

"Well yes, But I need my payment for being Harper's alarm clock most mornings, and that payment is my second breakfast." she explained while grabbing and biting into an apple from the fruit bowl on the counter. "Anyways, how does omelets sound?" my dad asked while cracking an egg into a medium sized glass bowl. "Yum! You always make the best omelets." Taylor exclaimed taking another bite of her apple. "Sounds good Taylor." my dad said chuckling and slightly rolling his eyes.

Taylor was being polite. There was a reason we had a housekeeper.

My house is the biggest one in the small community being three stories tall. It's a brick house, not your traditional brick though it's the dark brown, tan, and almost black-grey mixture kind, with lots of windows for light. white pillars up front holding the balcony on the second floor that attaches to the library and my mothers study. The inside has a pretty antique feel. There's lots of red curtains pulled back letting in light and lots of vases and statues. A majority of the furniture is a golden brown stained wood or white upholstery.
