Chapter 1 (Break down)

Nightmare Pov----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I teleport to a random area hopeful for no one to be in sight, I walked through the portal being transported to the waterfalls. I sat down in a bundle of echo flowers hopelessly. I look down to my hands, fisting them with a second glance, I look up staring into shallow water going down a stream with comforting sounds of the water splashing. I feel the warmth of my tears as sadness consumed me, why did I become so sensitive? I start to mumble the words that would get to me feeling hopeless, I stop for a moment drying my tears, but they came back. I look down to my hands, I could see the skeleton bones from my old form and start to panic. But goop came back and to be honest I wasn't sure to be relieved. I got up, tears still leaving my eyes, "Nightmare.." I could hear a familiar voice, I turn my head swiftly to face the monster. It was Dream, I gave him a pitiful look as I wipe down my tears. I teleported away, away from my problems.

I was talking with Ink, we were laughing at each other's jokes as Blueberry made us tacos. I decided to head out and instantly heard sorrows of a monster, I teleported ready for comfort. But I stopped in my tracks when I realised who it was, we were at the waterful, Nightmare was sitting down close by the shallow light blue water surrounded by echo flowers. I couldn't hear what he was saying because he was mumbling so quietly, I came to realise he was also... Shaking. I see some of the goop falls off his head and happiness spread my face but it came back leaving me hopeless. I approached him and could finally hear his sorrows. "Nightmare.." I say with instant regret. He looks back at me almost instantly and we both froze, I could see his eyes full of tears, he wipes them, no more tears coming through and no more sadness showing. He teleports away. I sigh as I sit down exactly where he was and look at the shiny light water gazing right back at me, it was calming until I heard the words. I look around, all of the echo flowers saying exactly every word he had said in those moments of sorrowfulness. All of the echo flowers were full of sadness and I could feel it.
