It is a normal day for Jade, she's on her way to school, greeting her neighbors as she passes by their houses. She arrives to school to see her best friend; Jenny. "Hi Jenny!!" shouted Jade. Jenny replied with just a "Hey..". Jade knew something was wrong with her bestie so she asked "what's wrong Jen? Who bothered you this time?" "Nothing.. It's just- It's just-" "Just what?" asked Jade. "The Korean drama's ending was so sad"
"Really Jenny. You got me worried for nothing!!" Jenny replies with a giggle and suddenly the bell rang "Welp, see you later Jade. I have History now" Jenny told Jade. "Oh Ok!! I'll see you at lunch after my English!" and they went their ways. As Jade was walking to her class she started hearing footsteps from behind her. She looked behind but no one was there. Jade wasn't very scared 'cause she was used to this and she continued her way to class.
After Class, at Lunch
"Jade!! Over here!!" Jenny waves at Jade alerting her where she was sitting in the noisy and crowded canteen. They sat with 3 other people which were their close friends; Andre, Missouri and Dahlia.
Dahlia: "So how was class just now?"
Andre and Missouri: "Awful"
Jade: "Aww did the 2 lovebirds did not get to sit together?"
Missouri: "Hell no. The teacher just gave us a ton of homework"
Andre: "mhm"
Dahlia: "Well mine was ok but the 2 students behind me were disgusting they were-"
Jenny: "Don't continue. I'm not ready to vomit"
Dahlia: "Ok then- Well how was yours Jade"
Jade: "Just the normal, the little quiz, exercises, yeah that's all".
They continue to chat until the end of lunch
~After school~
Jade and Jenny walked out of the school gates happily knowing they don't have homework to do. They decided to celebrate by having ice cream at the park. These kids are inseparable. They were walking to their favorite spot in the park which was just across a bicycle lane. They looked both directions before crossing so they wouldn't get hit by a bicycle. "Race you there Jenny!! The last one there is a- AAAAA!!" A bicycle came zooming out of nowhere. The man in the bike shouted "WATCH OUT!!". As Jade was dodging the bicycle for a split second she saw a black hooded man with bright green eyes holding her back from falling.
Jade was on the ground with no scratches at all. The man on the bicycle apologized to them for not seeing them crossing the lane. They forgave him of course, and continued to walk to their favorite place; the bench near the pond. Jenny saw Jade shaking as if she saw something weird "Jade what's wrong? You look like you just saw a ghost?" Jade was still thinking about the split second that she saw a black hooded man with bright green eyes. Jade mumbled "his eyes were shimmering green.." Jenny was surprised and said "Who's eyes? Is it your secret boyfriend's?? Jade!! Snap out of it!" Jade snapped back to life and said apologized for zoning out too long. She told Jenny about the black hooded man and Jenny was obviously shocked but when they sat down at the bench.. "Jenny I think I see the black man again.." Why don't we follow him?" said Jenny.
