"She sure seems to be doing well in Japan."

"Too bad she can't enjoy this meal and wine like we have."

"Well, I'm sure she's doing fine on drinking..."

"What is that supposed to mean, T?"

"I'm just saying that she takes after Father's family, like all of your kids do, Mother."

"Not all..."

"Let's not bring her up. She made her choices."

"You're right. Sorry. Thanks for picking the wine, T."

"No problem. I'm glad we all like it. It's funny how I've become so particular about wine."

"I think you mean snobby."

"At least I know the difference between pinot noir and pinot grigio."

"I'm not an idiot. One's red and one's white."

"Now boys, when you moved back home I thought we would be done with the fighting."

"Don't worry, Mother. They are just teasing each other like I did with my siblings."

"Ok. I get it. I didn't grow up with teasing so now I don't know how to be playful."

"Yeah. We are lucky to have two sons who know how to cook and pick out wines. We are eating even better than before the quarantine."

"I wonder if other families are eating just as well, or if we are somehow special."

"I don't think we are too special, but I doubt other families in this area talk about eating filet mignon every week and comparing the quality of the beef each time."

"Or drinking wine that cost $40 with it and complaining that we didn't get the $70 bottle."
