Orange sparks swirled, opening a doorway to the planet that Thanos had called 'the garden.' Dr. Strange entered the portal, which closed after Wanda stepped through. Their mission was to rebuild the stones that Thanos had destroyed so that they could return the others to their own times. He'd checked the future; nothing would go wrong.
He opened the eye of agamotto and rewound time on the entire planet, careful to leave Wanda out of the spell. It took several minutes to rewind the full five years, and he slowed down as he reached the beginning. They watched as shards gathered in the air, flying towards each other until they clicked into the gauntlet. Time froze, and Dr. Strange walked closer to Thanos. Wanda held up her hands, red light streaming from them.
"You ready?"
Wanda nodded.
Dr. Strange released the spell and Wanda released her power before Thanos could even blink. The red light poured into Thanos's chest. After several moments his heart gave up, yielding to Wanda's power. Thanos fell to the ground, dead once again.
They wordlessly retrieved the stones from the gauntlet and returned the base in Wakanda.
