Light a Way

Somewhere lightyears a way from here, there was a peaceful planet.

A planet full of flowers, beautiful ancient forests, and amazing waters.

This planet was home to little pink creatures "Faeys".

They al lived happy and free until that one faithful day. It was the feast of light, on the day the sun shines the brightest, but today it was different. In the middle of the ceremonial dance something shove for the sun, shadows covered the fields and dark purple clouds formed in the sky. Umbra's emerged from shadows and chased the Faeys. The Faeys flew away in every direction but stood no chance against the fast umbra's.

One of them managed to hide from the umbra following it, more dead then alive the creature of light sunk down to the floor. The Faey was found by a little girl and with its last power the little light creature created a stave of light and gave it to the girl.

This stave of light can destroy the umbra's.

On her quest to light a way back to peace the little girl finds the Lumilantern a big flying whale like being that summons lumi's, little glowing spirits. Who help her with spreading the light over the land again.

Following the path of destruction the umbra's caused the little girl came by a enormous tower with hundreds of umbra's. she entered the tower and began to climb the big endless seeming stairs.

The lumi's protected her against the umbra's in and around the tower while she walked and walked.

Up the top there was ancient carvings all over the floor and a pedestal in the very centre. One of the carvings showed a girl, while others showed Lumilantern and its lumi's. On the pedestal was a carved stave similar to the stave she was given by the dying Faey.

The little girl took the stave of light and planted it in the circular hole in the pedestal.

A light beam shot from the tower into the sky, fading away the umbra's around the tower and breaking the dark purple clouds. The sunlight broke trough the clouds shining down on the lands of the planet like it used to, dissolving al the umbra's into nothingness.

Blue crystals fell down from the sky combining together and creating a door to another realm. Without hesitating the new guardian of light stepped forward, to light a way in in the shadows at the other side, and free the world beyond.
