Finally, Our Time

Chapter 01

Almost  3 years ago...

"Margaret I want to talk to you" my future mother-in-law said

"Talk about what po?" I asked, confused and a little bit scared because of her tone couz' she sounds like a real lawyer and I don't want that tone because it only means that this is a serious talk.

"About my son, just meet me in the cafè near my lawfirm. 2:00pm sharp this afternoon.Give me your 30mins because that's my vacant time only. Are you coming?" she replied.

"Sure po, Madam" i said not minding my paperworks.

"Thank you, Bye" then she ended the call.

I can't relax in my sit when I arrived in the cafè. I'm 15 minutes early because it's  embarrasing naman kung paghihintayin ko 'future mother-in-law' ko. I blushed in that thought but I immediately got serious when I saw her arriving with two bodyguards in her sides. I walk towards her way and said my greetings "Goodmorning, Madam" and kiss her cheeks even I'm so cold like a corpse.

"Goodmorning,Hija" she smiled a little.

"Take a sit madam" I said.

"Nakaorder na po ako madam" I immediately said when she attempted to raise her hand to look for a waiter.

"Oh,okay. Lets just wait for that then we will start" she said seriously looking at my eyes directly.

I smiled nervously

"How are you? Are you fine in your  work? You're getting thin, huh?" She started while we are eating the food in our plates.

"I'm fine naman po, medyo naninibago lang because of the too many paperworks" I answered awkwardly- still smiling faintly because of nervousness.

"Oh. So I won't take time I want to talk to you about my son, your boyfriend-" she said seriously emphasising the word 'boyfriend'.

But before she continue I already raise my right hand

"Fiancè" I corrected, smilling.

"Yeah,yeah" she replied like she don't care but it's breaking my heart into pieces.
Then she continue "Like I was saying I want to talk to you because I want you to break-up with my son as soon as possible"

"What?!Why?!"  is this  for real?

"Because you're not healthy for him-"
she said nonchantically

Kaya hindi ko na napigilan sumabat.

"Madam, without all due your respect po hindi naman ako gulay o prutas para masabi nyong 'di ako healthy sa anak nyo. Pero kahit ano pong rason nyo di ko po sya hihiwalayan. Hell! Why would I do that? Dahil po ba ayaw nyo sa akin dahil wala kaming sariling kompanya katulad nyo?  Nagsisikap po ako magtrabaho. Sorry po pero hindi ko kaya" I blurted a bit angry.
She smirked at napakurap ako once. twice. thrice. at napanganga dahil sa reaksyon nya.

"He has a fiancè in Spain just like his older brother . They got engage 1 year ago. The girl is from a aristocrat family in Spain and also her parents is my bussiness partners. Their wedding is in December. 7 months from now on. You can't do anything, hija. Should I send you a invitation?" She said then stood up and tapped my shoulders lightly like she's comforting me kase habang nagsasalita sya unti unting natulo ang luha ko
"Break up with him before he break up with you" pagkatapos niyang sabihin 'yon iniwan n'ya akong bigo.
