Okay, so let's talk about Snape. Sure, he may have loved Lily, but he treated EVERYONE like absolute GARBAGE. Sure, he saved Harry, but if he didn't tell Voldemort about the prophecy, he wouldn't have needed to save Harry in the first place. He hated James, but does it really give him an excuse to bully young Harry that didn't do anything wrong except exist? Also, why is he so mean to Neville? Imagine for a second, having a teacher bully and make fun of you all day for no reason. And then imagine that teacher being your worst fear! Neville was so terrified of his teacher, that Neville's boggart was Snape. Neville's parents were tortured by Bellatrix, so it would've made sense if Neville was scared of Bellatrix or Voldemort, but for some reason, he's more scared of Snape than the two worst people in the Wizarding World. Snape was friend-zoned and got so salty that he joined the Death Eaters.
