the chocolate room

Start from the beginning

"Now be careful children, you don't want to loose your heads, don't get over exited"

Agustus dropped the candy bar into the grass and stepped on it. Completely forgotten.

"Just keep. Very. Calm"

"It's beautiful" Charlie said

"What, oh yeah, very beautiful"

They walked across a bridge in the middle of the room as Wonka began to explain things.

"Every drop of the river is hot melted chocolate of the finest quality, the water fall is most important, it mixes the chocolate, churns it up, makes it light and frothy. By the way, no the  factory in the world mixes it's chocolate by waterfall and you can take that to the bank"

They all walked forward as he gestured for them to go ahead. He saw a machine with pipes coming down from it and caught their attention again.

"People, those pipes suck up the chocolate and carry it away, all over the factory, thousands of gallons an hour, do you like my meadow? Try some of the grass is so delectable"

"You can eat the grass?" Charlie asked him.

"Of course you can everything in this room is eatable even I'm eatable but that, my dear children, is called canobolisim and is frowned upon in most religions"

"Enjoy" Agustus immediately took off while the others held back a little " go on. Scoot"

Everyone else began to scramble away except for Charlie, lily and Mr Salt. Mr Salt looked at Mr Wonka who gave him a look as if daring him to say anything. This frightens him a little aso he walked of to find his daughter. Mr Wonka then turned his attention to Charlie and lily once again.

Charlie was looking down at his sister wondering what she was doing while the little girl was stood still on his spot.

"Aren't you coming Lils?" he asked her and she turned to look at him.

"I'll follow you in minute Charlie, you can go"

"I don't think I should this room is rather bug and I don't want to loose you"

"Alright, can you just sit with me for a minute then we can go off"

"Ok"

They hugged eachtoher and Lilith carried in looking around the room. She was carefully taking in every little detail in the room knowing that she would never get a chance to see something like this ever again. She spotted a little bench nearby and sat down pulling her knees up to her chest and reading her chin on them. Charlie sat down next to her and looked around as well.

Willy Wonka, who had watched the exchange between the siblings went over and stood behind them but they didn't notice.

"Why aren't you guys exploring the room, don't you like it?" He asked them.

Lilith jumped five feet in the air and jumped into Charlie's lap, burring her face in his chest. She got nervous as she didn't want to seem rude and unimpressed.

"Sorry Mr Wonka, she just gets a little frightened around strangers"

"That's alright" He sat down on the bench "So aren't you going to try anything?"

"Lily really likes it so she won't touch anything because she doesn't want to ruin it, you must have worked really hard on it"

He smiled at the siblings, he never thought a child would be so considerate.

"I did but you wouldn't ruin it, it's candy, it's supposed to be eaten, just choose your favourite thing and eat it"

"She's never had candy before"

"What!" Lily jumped and held her hands above her face "you've never had candy before?"

She kept her head on Charlie's chest, not daring to look at the man "N -no, I'm sorry"

"There's no need to be sorry about it little girl" he then noticed she hadn't moved her arms "are you alright?"

Charlie reached up and pulled her arms down. "She's fine, I think we will go and explore now, it was nice talking to you"

He set her on the ground and took her hand, lily turned around to face Wonka.

"G - goodbye"

She gave him a little wave and then the two left to investigate a near by tree with candy apples hanging from it.

"Huh" he said to himself "strange..." He stood up and walked around checking over his guests to see what they were doing occasionally glancing over at the little blonde haired girl and her brother.
