The bird was small enough to stay on one of Flora's hand as the fairy used the other hand to try to heal the bird, but she only did a bit as the blood was still going on.

“There's a medkit somewhere in the house,” Tecna informed as soon she remembered and Flora nodded. The two girls ran in back in the mansion, leaving the music fairy with her boyfriend alone outside.

“Why are you such a douchebag?” Musa sighed as she put her hands on her hips and tapping her foot in annoyance.

“Why did you had to hit me so hard!?” Riven replied instead, still giving massages to his arm.

“I can't stand you making me look stupid by saying that to Flora when you know she's sensitive towards animals and birds are living beings.” Musa crossed her arms but quickly regretted it when Riven started lowering his eyes so she cleared her throat to regain his attention, making him stutter.

“Okay, I'm sorry. No need to being so extra and moody about it.” Riven put his hands in defence and smiled, knowing that when he does that Musa would find him cute and forgive him.

“Boy, bye.” Musa started walking away from Riven, waving her hand so he could see that she really meant it and wasn't joking.

“Where are you going now?” Riven shouted, confused.

“To rest,” Musa shouted back, before disappearing behind the mansion's main doors and Riven crossed his arms but then chuckled not only he succeeded on annoying his girlfriend but because he also found it funny the way he and Musa argue some of the times.

“I really need to make you my wife, soon,” Riven mumbled, grinning to himself as he ran his fingers in his magenta hair and after he also made his way inside the mansion.

...

Flora left the little bird rest on a bunch of cotton wool balls, as she didn't have any other ideas on where to let it rest. Helia walked in, without his shirt on as it was on his shoulder and he was sweating since he just got out of the gym.

Helia made his way to where Flora and Tecna were sitting on the bed, smiling at something. “What's a baby rat doing here?” He questioned, frowning.

“It's not a rat, that's a baby bird. The poor little one had a broken leg and a spike not too deep on its chest. We have been able to save it in time.” The nature fairy lifted the bird on her hands to show her husband.

“I'm not going to get credit for something you completely did all yourself, Flora.” Tecna smiled, side-hugging the nature fairy then left her room to go in her room, to do her own things.

“You are going to keep the bird, right?” Helia asked once the technology fairy left and Flora sighed.

“I mean yeah, it's just so small and cute. When he or she feels better and healed up, I will let it go but for the meanwhile, can I keep it?” Flora moved his hair on the back of his ear, then looked at him with pleading eyes.

“Yeah, sure, no need to ask permission... well as long as you don't start finding and bringing an entire animal farm in our house, I'm fine.” Helia joked as Flora gasped then jokingly pushing him away from her.

“Helia! Our house is in the middle of trees, of course, animals live there. And don't lie, when did I ever bring animals home?”

“I'm going to take a shower, later babe.” Helia chuckled then leaned to kiss Flora's cheek, even though she felt offended by him as she didn't know what he meant.

“Sorry, please don't listen to him, okay? You're so beautiful, I never have seen you before. Probably because Gardenia has different kinds of birds than in Linphea, which is fine.” Flora slowly and gently caressed the bird's back, then noticed something shiny on the bird's head, similar to a diamond was stuck in there. The nature fairy was about to examine it when her room door stormed open.

“I found you!” Aisha yelled, running to hug the nature fairy. Flora was confused but still hugged her friend back.

“Good grief, what happened to knocking these days-- You scared me!” Flora snickered and Aisha playfully rolled her eyes; she doesn't care, whatever happens, she will still storm in her friend's room without consent.

“You'll never guess what! The worst happened.” Aisha changed topic then put her hands on Flora's shoulders to look straight into her emerald eyes.

“Was the Royal Meeting that bad?” Flora chuckled, nervously.

“Of course. I always hated them, they talk nonsense on the table. Anyway,-- oh, what happened to little birdie here?” Aisha changed her voice in a childish one, leaning to get a closer look as it was so tiny.

“I found him outside in one of the bushes, injured.” Flora picked the bird up to give it to the water fairy to look.

“It's a she.”

Flora was surprised at the sudden information, especially from Aisha. “That was quick, how do you know?”

“Roxy is a very good animal teacher,” Aisha replied, smiling then shook her face, realising she came to Flora for a whole different reason. “Anyway, the worst happened!”

“Yeah, I heard you.”

“No, you don't understand! Our holiday here is ending. They want us back on our thrones but I don't want to! I was so comfortable here, having a break and enjoy family time with you all.”

“Wait, is this about...?” Aisha nodded instantly.

“That foolish trio of witches struck into Magix yesterday night and destroyed half of the city for no reason at all!” The water fairy crossed her arms as Flora gasped and widened her eyes.

“Wait, the Trix did what?”

While the two fairies were too busy chatting, the bird started moving and open her eyes. She lifted her head, looking around then her eyes from normal black color glowed into blue and the diamond, that had a visible tear shape on its head, shined too.
