Nick was sitting in his living room chair watching some news since there wasn't anything else better to do. The lights were off since it was night and he didn't want to wake up his sister Persa. He was quite bored really but what else could he do? It was the middle of the night after all. Then.. Something off happened..
The TV started to static and the news just suddenly changed... Nick was thrown off by this as he sat up on his chair rather than just laying on it. He narrowed his eyes and noticed a girl with torn clothes and hair covering her face. Samara. It was honestly the creepiest thing he had ever seen. And that wasn't all. The girl started walking closer and closer to the other side of the screen until she stuck her hands out of it. The boy quickly jumped on his chair and started leaning backwards as Samara crawled out of the TV and walked towards him slowly. He gasped under his breath.
Then, when he turned his head to the right, he saw him... The ghost that has been wanting his childhood even since.. Scream. The man in the mask and creepy suit waved at him creepily. He wanted to get out of there but he was stuck in that chair. When he turned his head back up, the girl was right in front of his face, jumpscaring him.. He gasped loudly once again and-
Nothing... He was in his living room again but this time it was the afternoon. He had woken up from his dream before he heard his sister's voice.
"Nick, what's wrong?" She asked as she entered the kitchen which was behind the living room.
"Just a nightmare..." The boy responded as he rubbed his temple. He sighed in relief as it was now all over.
"Do you want to eat something?" Persa, his sister, asked another question. Honestly he really didn't know if he was hungry or not but Nick figured it'd get his mind off of other things.
"Yeah.." He agreed before his memories flashed. He was just a kid when his idiot friend, Tony, decided to pull a 'prank' on him. He was about to hurt him so Nick decided to do that back. He ended up in the hospital for lord knows how long... But not for Nick. For the boy, Tony was always there. He never left..
Once those memories finished he turned to his sister. "What are we eating...?" He asked. His small grin dropped. His sister was slowly turning to a hallucination of Scream.
"Toast..." Nick heard in his mind. When in reality, Persa was there as herself. He quickly hid behind the chair as he peeked to see if the monster was gone.
Persa smirked abit and pointed at her head a couple of times to show that her brother was going a little crazy. Nick sighed and nodded, agreeing with his sister.
