Back with Natsumi and the Kamado siblings.. At the park..

After receiving a light scolding from Natsumi, Tanjiro couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed for being unable to avenge his family yet at the same time, he couldn't help but feel a bit guilty for worrying his mentor over his own foolishness

"I guess I didn't thought about it that way.. I'm so sorry for acting on my own, Hinokami.." Tanjiro apologized as Natsumi sighed and lightly pat his head before bringing him into a small hug

"I forgive you, Tanjiro.. Just promise me you won't ever do it again, okay?"

"I promise.." Tanjiro replied as Natsumi slowly starts to let go of him that was until they heard a loud shout coming from a distance

Turning their heads to the side and saw an angry young man approaching them  with an infuriated look on his face, Tanjiro instantly felt a sweat drop as he immediately recognizes the man to be the udon-stand keeper from earlier

"You ungrateful little brat! How dare you insult me?! Do you have any idea just how much you have insulted me with that little gesture!?" The man exclaimed as he pinches Tanjiro by the ear for dropping the bowl of udon he made for him

Natsumi and Nezuko were confused, it seemed strange for them to see this man suddenly approach them, yet hearing him scolding Tanjiro for no reason made them curious

"Umm.. Mind telling us what's going on here, Mister? What exactly did my brother do to you?" Nezuko asked as the stand keeper turned his attention to her and gave a mean look on his face

"Is this kid your brother?" He asked with an annoyed tone as Nezuko nodded her head in response

"Yes! He's my big brother but that's doesn't matter right now! Why are you scolding him?" she asked

Natsumi couldn't help but glanced towards Tanjiro's direction as she starts to peek into his memories with the help of his Flame-Style Hanafuda earrings that she had gifted to the Kamado family over hundreds of years ago in the Sengoku period..

'Oh.. So that's what happened..' Natsumi thought as she saved the man for going through the trouble of explaining Tanjiro's situation and apologized on her student's behalf

"If you're truly sorry then all of you must compensate for his mistakes!" the man exclaimed as Natsumi cocks her head in confusion

"Compensate? With what exactly? If it's money that you want I can easily pay you for it?" She asked, only to get herself dragged by the man to an udon stand along with Tanjiro and Nezuko as he serves all three of them a bowl of udon

"You can compensate with this! All of you will have to eat a bowl of udon in order to earn my forgiveness" the man stated with a smug smile on his face, as Natsumi casts an uncomfortable stare towards her bowl of udon before proceeding to eat her food along with the Kamado siblings..

"Thanks for the great meal! It was delicious!" Tanjiro and Nezuko exclaimed in union as the man smirked before turning towards Natsumi to see what she has to say

"It is rather interesting.." Natsumi stated as the man smiled, he was so pleased with their remarks that he didn't even bother to charged them for the meal and let them off their merry way..

Meanwhile, Somewhere around the shadows..

"Hehehe.. There's that little Demon"

" Let's follow her and find out her plans with those Demon Slayers.."

Muzan's Demons whispered as they were about to go after Natsumi and the Kamado siblings, only to fail to notice one of Natsumi's swordsman standing behind them with an irritated look upon his face along with a White Nichirin Blade in his hands..

'I won't let you lay a finger on Tsuki-Onee-sama..' the boy thought as he suddenly raised his sword above their heads and swiftly brought it down in one fell swoop, successfully slicing off both of their heads in a single swing of his sword

"How weak.." he commented as he  turned his head towards Natsumi's direction and noticed her chatting with one of the Kamado siblings before turning her head around towards his direction

Seeing the amused smirk on her face, the boy couldn't help but feel a bit giddy about the look she was giving him almost as if she was silently praising him for his deeds

"Well done, Yuichiro.. I see you have  sharpen your skills throughout the years.. Truly remarkable, I'm so proud of my youngest Tsukikage.." Natsumi mentally praised

Yuichiro couldn't help but smile in gratitude towards her praise, usually he never liked being praised before in his life as a mortal, but hearing them coming from Natsumi made his heart feel all warm and fuzzy from all of that parental love she was giving him..

Yuichiro may think of Natsumi as an older sister to him, but in truth he had always seen her as a Guardian or a parent of some sort rather than an older sister..

'Thank you, Tsuki-Onee-sama.. I shall be heading back now..' Yuichiro thought before turning his back towards her as he starts to cast his spell and transports himself back to the Shingetsu Fortress before anyone else could follow him.

Back with Natsumi and the Kamado siblings..

Natsumi's pov

"Is something wrong, Hinokami? You've been staring at that tree for quite awhile now?" Tanjiro asked as I merely gave him a reassuring smile before shaking my head in response

"It's nothing, Tanjiro.. I'm fine.." I muttered glancing towards Yuichiro's direction one last time as we immediately took our leave before anymore Demons shows up in the area..

By the time we arrived to a nearby village, it was already day time, Nezuko and I had to try and stay away from sunlight as much as possible, it was simply too dangerous for us to be seen walking under sunlight, especially when I'm being targeted by Kibutsuji himself..

"Hmm? Tanjiro, look! Isn't that your crow over there?" Nezuko asked, pointing towards a Kasugai Crow who was hovering above us with an urgent look upon its face

I couldn't help but sigh as I held my hand out for it to land, yet the second it got on my finger I felt my body gone completely stiff at its report..

"North! Northeast! Your mission is North! Northeast! Make haste towards Mount Natagumo!" The crow reported as I started to recall the report that Masachika made the other day about Mount Natagumo

"..There's a member of the Twelve Kizuki at Mount Natagumo, Tsuki.. It's too dangerous to go back now, not with all of those Demon Slayers in the area.." I recalled as Masachika's words started echoing inside my head, constantly reminding me the dangers of being there right now

"I'm heading off, now! Take care of yourself, Nezuko!" Tanjiro exclaimed as he starts sprinting off towards Mount Natagumo before Nezuko could even say a word to him

"He left.. And, he didn't even gave me a chance to say goodbye that dummy"

"Hehe.. You and me, both.. Come, let's head back to the Fortress before a Demon Slayer sees us.."

"Fine.."

Nezuko replied as I immediately transported us to the Fortress, before  any of Demon Slayers in the area could notice us.
