"Our secret moments in a crowded room,
They've got no idea about me and you.
There is an indentation in the shape of you,
Made your mark on me, a golden tattoo.
All of this silence and patience, pining in anticipation,
My hands are shaking from holding back from you."

"And the award for song of the year goes to..."

His hands shake in anticipation and fear, a normal reaction for anyone but Noah.

Ever carefree, he hasn't stressed about award show validation since their first album. After all, this wasn't the first award the band was nominated for, and he knew it wouldn't be the last. But this song, this song was theirs.

Noah and Via's.

"Your heart, my lips."

The crowd roar in the background. With slaps on the back from his band mates and cheers from proud management, time stills.

Searching for the beautiful brunette, his eyes cling to hers. The pride in those blue orbs taunting him to throw caution to the wind and show everyone she's his - and he her's.

But they couldn't. Not here.

And so, as his hands ache to wrap around her waist. His lips fighting to reunite with her delicate neck, and his heart begging to be with its matching piece. He resists.

Instead, he settles for a beaming smile at the woman who has become his everything.

His home.

But in the back of his mind, Noah can't help but wonder how long the two lovers will be able to keep this secret.
