Georgie's P.O.V
I can't believe Hayes would just walk out like that. I ran after him into his room and slapped him round the face. "WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK HAYES!?!" I screamed in his face.
"Wow, wow, wow, what going on??" Nash shouted, pulling me off of Hayes, holding me back whilst I tried to escape to attack Hayes (😂) I managed to reach close enough to slap him again.
"Georgie, you can't slap people!!" Nash tried to calm me down. Mom walked in. Oh, great.
""Georgie??" She ran to Hayes and wrapped her arms round his shoulder.
"He shouldn't hurt my best friend!!" I spat at him, giving him a death glare.
"I didn't do ANYTHING" he yelled
I stood up, I went to jump on him to hit him again but Nash held me back.
"I've had enough of this, you know where we are when you're ready to apologise" I flicked my hair over my shoulder, turning and walking out of his door. I was outside our door and I can already hear Becky's sniffling.
When I walked in she looked up, her eyes bloodshot and she was holding the teddy I gave her for her 4th birthday. She took it everywhere and when things started going downhill with her mum when we were 4, even though we were young I told her if something happened and I wasn't there she would always have the teddy. Now she holds it every time she's sad, happy, excited, basically all the time.It lives with her.
I walked over and without saying a word I wrapped my arms round her, letting her cry into my chest.
About 5 minutes later I opened my eyes, I noticed the light in our room switch on and mom and Nash walk in the room. I was still sat on Becky's bed with her crying into my chest.
"What was all that about" they chanted, sitting on my bed, facing us.
"He's an idiot and he deserved what he got" I said bluntly.
"What did he do" mom asked softly.
I looked down at Becky and she lifted her head up. As soon as she looked at my mom she started bawling her eyes out.
"I-I'm s-scared t-to t-tell y-you" she sobbed.
"Well it can't be that bad" Nash looked at me for reassurance.
I gave him a look to say it really was quite bad.
"Well can Georgie tell us??" Mom said softly, reaching across from my bed to Becky's and patting her on the back.
"I-if y-you d-don't h-hate m-me after" Becky replied.
I got up and walked out of our bedroom with them following closely behind. We walked down to the kitchen and I started to explain to them. Mom started crying she looked really angry, Nash and I waited for her to speak.
"I'm so angry...... How could Hayes do that to that poor girl!!"
I smiled at her, knowing she wasn't angry with what happened just how Hayes had reacted.
She ran upstairs and when Nash and I had found her, in my room with Becky, she was telling Becky everything was going to be ok.
They left and Becky and I went to sleep. I just want to forget today happened...
---morning---
As it's saturday I've decided we're going to have a 'lazy day'.
We got dressed (outfits above Becky-left, Georgie-right)
We walked downstairs, Becky was a lot happier knowing our family was ok with it but was still sad about Hayes who btw hasn't said sorry yet.
The whole family sat at the dining room table to eat breakfast. Skylynn was humming away and mom was trying to make conversation, non of us listening or replying.
I took my empty plate to the kitchen and I heard someone enter through the kitchen door. Hayes.
"What do you want??" I spat at him, not turning around to look.
"Look Georgie, yesterday, I just couldn't believe what happened. I mean I'm turning 16 in a few months and I'm going to be a dad.... I'm sorry but that's not something that happens everyday!!" He pleaded for forgiveness.
I looked at him and could see he was sorry.
I hugged him and he looked shocked. I whispered in his ear.
"It's not me you should be saying sorry to"
He nodded and entered the dining room, everyone was now talking, we sat in our places and Hayes started.
"I'm so sorry Becky, I didn't know how to react yesterday I mean, we're only 15 and if I'm honest, I'm disappointed with myself. I love you so much and I'm sorry if I've ruined everything"
Mom left the room with Skylynn. I looked over at Becky. She was staring at a wall and had no expression on her face. She stood up and walked over to Hayes she smiled and hugged him, pulling him in tight.
"Come in here guys" mom called from the movie room.
There were blankets everywhere and the big movie screen was plugged into the family MacBook. We ran over and layer on the blankets. I out 'Elf' on. (because..... It's the best movie, I'm watching it whilst writing this and it's currently 21:32 -Christmas Eve irl....)
We spent the rest of the day watching Netflix, eating junk food and playing truth or dare. My eyes started to get heaving and I soon fell asleep on Nash's chest.
Nash's P.O.V
Georgie fell asleep on my chest and was sleep talking about Matt. I took out my phone and vined it, I sent it to Matt then switched off my phone, resting my chin on Georgie's head and falling asleep.
