crystal elizabeth wasn't your stereotypical popular girl. oh no, she was anything but that. sure, she was the head cheerleader of the cheer team. but despite that, she was probably the nicest person you'd ever meet. she had such a bubbly, positive energy that practically everyone adored; she would always do whatever it took to see on the positive side of things. she would never want to view anybody in a negative light. well, anyone apart from gigi goode that is

gigi was known by most as the 'lesbian stoner freak'. and she couldn't really argue with that. i mean she was certainly a lesbian, and a stoner. in fact, so were the rest of her friendship group. but the reason she got the most attention for it was probably because of the way she dressed. gigi loved dressing in a way that would make old people look at her and think 'what. the. fuck'. but, she was actually a very approachable person if you gave her the chance. sure, she seemed like a sarcastic bitch from the outside. but deep inside, she had an incredibly soft spot for the people that she loved

gigi and crystal had never gotten along well. for as long as they had known each other, not a single nice word had been exchanged between the pair. for some reason, gigi had always remembered the exact date crystal arrived at their school. it was april 2nd 2017, their final year of middle school was nearing an end when a new girl suddenly turned up. you guessed it, the new girl was crystal elizabeth!
as soon as gigi saw her face, she was intrigued, though she was never sure why. throughout the day gigi had built up such a strong urge to become friends with the blonde, only for her heart to shatter into a million pieces when she noticed that the popular girls had already taken her under their wing. the same popular girls that hated gigi's guts and would never fail to call her a dyke at least 10 times a day.
she would never admit it now, but gigi was horribly jealous. jealous that crystal was friends with them and not her. but the jealousy soon turned to anger. and that anger eventually lead to gigi hating crystal more than she hated the other popular girls

january 5th 2020, junior year
crystal entered the registration classroom, immediately noticing the positive energy that filled the air. it was the first day back at school since christmas break, and everyone seemed so excited to be back with their groups of friends. it made her so happy seeing everyone like this, especially since the school was normally filled with such a boring, dull atmosphere

she bounced over to her usual seat at the back of the room, which was a part of her friendship group's unofficial seating arrangement. to crystal's left, in the corner of the room, sat jan. jan sport was probably the nicest of the friendship group aside from crystal, which was why they naturally got on so well. she was popularly known as the 'dumb blonde' of the group. in the two seats in front of the pair sat nicky and jaida. nicky doll and jaida hall had a reputation of being the prettiest, most intimidating girls in the school. they were total bitches to anyone outside their friendship group, which was why practically everyone was scared of them

"hey bitch" jan blurted affectionately as crystal walked over, welcoming her with a friendly hug while nicky and jaida shouted excitedly from their seats
"oh my god crystal! we thought you'd never show up, girl" jaida joked
crystal gasps sarcastically while pulling away from jan's embrace, "wow, you thought i'd ever dream of leaving you bitches on the first day of school? who do you think i am?" she laughs before turning her seat to face the other girls
"well you should be glad that you're late" nicky pipes in, "i would pay good money to erase the image of that outfit we saw gigi lesbo goode wearing in the hallway" she hisses in a thick french accent, jokingly pretending to throw up 
"isn't she in this class though? poor crystal will have to see it anyway, if she ever turns up" jan laughs
"she's probably too busy smoking pot and watching lesbian porn in the toilets" jaida exclaims, earnings a roar of laughter from the group

the girls are diverted from their conversation as the familiar sound of platform doc martens entering the room can be heard, causing crystal to abruptly snap her head towards the door. her gaze was met with a certain pink haired girl who had stopped in her tracks, big dark eyes observing the room. subconsciously, crystal's eyes linger on the girl that stood at the doorway. gigi goode.
