Dorm 542

I slowly open the heavy wooden door, i step inside the white room looking around. I guess I'm the first one here, i look down at the folder my RA gave me. Cassie Brain, Room Mate
         I choose the bed closest to the window, i set my duffle bag down not knowing what to do first. I pull my thick wavy hair into a messy bun, ok so Ill put  my clothes in the closet. Thank god this closet come with dressers, most of my clothes fits in my side of the dresser except three of my hoodies. I hang them up on my side of the closet. I go back to my bed grabbing my two other pairs of shoes My running shoes and my Walmart Birkenstock's. I put them on top of my dresser, i make sure none of my clothes are on Cassie's side the last thing i want is my roommate to hate me.
         I grab my student ID and my room key, i go back down stairs and put the sliding doors. I take the elevator to level three, i walk to my truck manually unlocking it. I grab my two back packs, then my pillows, sheets, blankets and sheet protector. I struggle to get back to the room but i do, i set my back packs on the floor and start making my bed. I hear the door unlock behind me i turn and see the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life.
"Oh my gosh Hi!" She smiles running up to me hugging me. I'm from south south Texas but this girls southern accent is wayyy stronger than mine. "Hi" i say softly.
         "Aren't you just the cutest" she smiles. Me cute ? Did this girl really just call me cute when i look like a whole boy. Cassie's parents follow in behind her, "mom, dad this is my roommate Em..." she stares off trying to remember my name from the folder the RA gave her. I walk up to them "Emily Wood,Nice to meet y'all" i smile offering my hand. They shake their head going straight for a hug, this family is definitely a hugger type of family. "So where are you from sweetheart?" Asks Cassies mom. "I'm from Portland, Texas it's a pretty small town" i smile. "Is your mom here with you, we would sure love to meet her" Cassie's mom smiles. "My mom actually couldn't make it up here with me... she had work so it's just me" i smile. I since the Pity starting to come off Cassie's parents, "it's all good though" i smile walking over to my bed. Making it, Cassie unpacks her suit cases and starts decorating her side of the room.
       I dig in my back pack pulling out pictures of me and my friends from Texas. I put my pictures on my desk i grab my pencil holder and my laptop, i make my desk look put together and organized. I grab my journal from my back pack and put it in one of the desk drawers. In my other backpack is all the school supplies i should need for class. I go to the closet setting my backpack on my dresser. I look at my side of the room and how boring it is, i look over at Cassie laughing with her parents. I smile wishing i had that, "it was so great meeting you guys, I'm gonna head to the store to buy stuff for the shower" i grab my keys and student Id and my wallet. "It was nice meeting you Sweetie" smile Cassie's parents.
      I wave them good bye before  the door shuts behind me. I walk down to the elevator slowly waiting for it to reach my floor. "Em" calls Cassie from down the hall, she runs up to me. "So me and my parents were wondering if you wanted to come to dinner with us?" She smiles. "That's so sweet, i would but the last of my "free" money is gonna be used on stuff for the shower" i frown. "Rain check though ?" I ask her. "My parents will pay for you don't worry about it" Cassie smiles. "Omg no, i could never ask you guys to do that" i shake my head. "Please just come, my parents will not leave you alone until you do sooo" she laughs. "Ok... what time do i need to meet y'all back up here at ?" I ask her . "5:30" she smiles hugging me.
        I go out to my truck climbing inside, i put my seatbelt on and slowly start my truck it sputters a few times before it finally turns over. I pull out of my parking space, "Hey Siri find my the closest target" i wait for her to start giving me directions. The closest target 5 minutes away. I finally find my way to Target, i grab my wallet and keys locking the door behind me. I look at the list i have in my phone:

Robe
Towels
Head and shoulders (almond)
Coconut body wash
Toothbrush
Toothpaste
Brush
Deodorant
Body mist
Laundry basket
Laundry soap
Dryer sheets
Skinny pop (sea salt popcorn)
Granola
Water bottles 
         I look down at my phone it's already 3:30, i rush throughout the store grabbing everything i need. I go the self check line. I hurry and scan my items, My total 130.45 ok not that bad. I should've bought all this stuff in Texas. I hurry out the store loading the truck up with all my stuff. I climb into my truck and head back to the dorms. I put all my stuff inside the laundry basket and carry it back up to my dorm that way. Cassie and her parents aren't in the dorm when i get there. I shove the laundry basket under my bed, making it look as organized as possible.
         Cassie walks in with her parents, "we're a little early but would you like to head out ?" Her mom asks me. I nod and grab my stuff, I'm the last one out of the room locking the door behind me. I look at the dorm number smiling, Dorm 542.
