"So are you excited?"

Stephen and Hosuh Go to a new school together.

Daniel introduces himself.

Stephen and Hosuh were always friends. Best friends. Stephen always made Hosuh laugh. Hosuh tried not to though. Stephen thought there were no secrets or walls in their friendship. Hosuh knew that he was wrong. Now, from the outside, these people were normal. Two friends, boys, specifically. One of them making gay jokes and the other blushing and getting teased. The type of friends that would go to each other's houses on the weekends, play video games, order a pizza, drink soda and argue about being the best for hours at a time. However, they had their abnormalities. Hosuh played the tsundere. The cinnamon roll, the bean. Stephen was the sadistic murderer. Neither of their true identities were shown. It turned out that Stephen was actually pretty soft in moments of weakness. Hosuh was sometimes rude and threatening. But he would always use the same excuse to cover up. 'Stephen, I think you're corrupting me!' The two would then laugh and Stephen would say something like 'Haha! I will take your soul and devour it!' Stephen never saw through Hosuhs innocent act. It was too solid, too convincing. Everyone at school thought Hosuh was just a sweet innocent boy. But Hosuh was not. He was anything but that. A rare condition he had was the cause, a mental problem. It was most commonly known as the yandere. However, he wasn't born with your typical, emotionless, can't go near Senpai yandere. His family had a long line of people suffering from this condition. Each time there was a twist in how it worked. Hosuh was able to talk to his Senpai, but it was harder to bring himself to commit crime. I guess his innocent act did shine through a bit.

Now the action starts on their first day at high school. Akademi high was notorious for the killer Ayano Aishi, who was caught in the act of murder and kidnapped her Senpai, escaping the country with him. The story was quite interesting, so I'll derail for a quick minute to tell you. Ayano was a stereotypical yandere. No perks, no weaknesses. The same one Hosuh has heard of many many times. Aishi had violently stabbed a classmate to death, and was caught by the police. She ran as far away as possible and returned weeks later, kidnapping Taro Yamada and fleeing Japan. Her current location is unknown. Now the school stands tall, knowing they caught the killer. They didn't expect a new one quite so soon after. Hosuh was a new type. He would be one that people expected as an Osana type victim. He wouldn't be like Ayano, a flavorless yandere. He'd have a plan. He'd be smart about it. And that's why Stephen could be his.

Stephen and Hosuh walked to school together, they always did. It was a good time to check in and see if he was doing okay. Hosuh closed his eyes for a second and assumed the persona of a tsundere. "Good morning, Hos, ready for school?" Stephen said cheerfully as Hosuh opened the door. He lived alone, his parents and brother moved away. This was so Hosuh had access to the entire house and all its assets without siblings in the way. All yandere children lived alone, it was tradition. "Stephen you're 5 minutes late! I almost left without you!" Hosuh said in an exaggerated tone. "Sorry Hosuh, Gavin was hogging the washroom-" Stephen said. "Alright, fine, I'll let you off this time but not if you do it again." Hosuh stepped out into the cool summer-autumn breeze. He skipped next to Stephen. Stephen was excited, but not enough to smile. Or at least, that's what he told himself. Hosuh looked over at his best friend and Stephen looked back. "So, are you excited?" Hosuh asked in what he hoped was a giddy voice. " Yes, but no. Only cause you're coming to this school too. I thought we'd be separated after middle school but nope, here you are, clinging to my ankles." Stephen joked. It was rather true, though. Hosuh made sure he would always attend the same school as Stephen. "Alright, yes, I am clinging to you. I'll just detach myself-" Hosuh teased. Stephen was quick to react. "No! Don't- Er, I mean, I couldn't care less..." Hosuh giggled at Stephen being so out of character. They arrived at the gates and went inside. "Alright, let's go meet new people!" Hosuh acted excited. "No thanks Hos, I'd rather read. I heard the fountains are a nice place..." Stephen let go of Hosuhs hand, which up until then he didn't notice he was holding up until now. Hosuh blushed and covered his face, and Stephen went a bit pink. "Sorryhosuhimgonnago" He said under his breath. He rushed off. Hosuh's heart fluttered. Stephen Senpai held my hand!

It was 7:09, Hosuh noted. He watched Stephen read his book and ever so suddenly, a strange anger he'd never known before rushed through him, tensing every muscle in his body, causing him to grit his teeth. Hosuh's heart beat so hard it would almost pop out of his chest, not in the pleasant lovey-dovey way. A girl with long blue hair and purple eyes sat down next to Stephen senpai and started a conversation. A text rang on his phone. He was expecting it. Info chan had close friends in the info club. Daniel Lim The name read.
