"Oh god. Well it started about a half hour before the wedding," Rachel started to answer. "Sammy and I were in this room where we were keeping all the presents and I was looking at this gravy boat. This really gorgeous Limoges gravy boat. When all of a sudden-"

Rachel was interrupted as the waitress walked up next to Samantha with Rachel's coffee. In turn, Rachel asked, "Sweet and low?" The waitress nodded and walked away. "When all of a sudden I realized I was more turned on by this gravy boat then by Barry."

"And that's when it hit me-" she kept going. "How much Barry looks like Mr. Potato Head."

"Oh thanks, Rach," Samantha deadpanned. Confused everyone turned to look at the girl. "Barry and I are related," she explained. They all nodded their heads in understanding.

"I mean I always knew he looked familiar but," Rachel continued, ignoring the remark. She paused to give Ross the sugar packet she held.

"Anyway I just had to get out of there." Samantha moved so she could massage the girls shoulders. "And I started wondering, 'Why am I doing this, and who am I doing this for?' And Sammy here she agreed to help me since she doesn't like Barry either."

"I hate him," Samantha corrected.

"So, anyway, I just didn't know where to go." Rachel looked to Monica. "And I know that you and I have drifted apart, but you're the only person I knew, who lived here in the city."

"Who wasn't invited to the wedding," Monica replied.

"Oh, I was kinda hoping that wouldn't be an issue."

The gang was now gathered in Monica's apartment after the girl invited Rachel and Samantha to come over and sort things out. Everyone, excluding Rachel who took the time to call her dad, sat around the television watching some Spanish drama. Samantha sat on the couch with her legs pulled underneath her. Phoebe sat below her on the floor as Chandler and Joey sat on the left side of the couch.

"Now I'm guessing he bought her the big pipe organ," Monica started. "And she's really not happy about it."

"Daddy... I just." Samantha listened to the phone conversation while simultaneously getting hooked on the Spanish drama. "I'm sorry. I just don't love him."

"Well it matters to me," Rachel answered her father on the other line.

"Hey Rach, want me to give it a try?" Samantha turned around and asked the girl. Rachel silently nodded.

"Sammy wants to talk to you daddy." Rachel walked over and handed over the phone.

"Hey Mr. Green," Samantha greeted cheerily. He started speaking on the other line. "Well yeah I know, I know, it's just... Barry's a little bitch and-"

"Rach?" She turned to look back at the girl who had occupied herself by chewing her nails. "He wants to talk to you again." Samantha handed the phone over to Rachel again who immediately began talking.

"Come on Daddy listen to me," she complained. "It's like all of my life everyone has always told me, you're a shoe, you're a shoe, you're a shoe." Confused everyone turned back to look at her.
