I warn you,

If any element of these tales seems slightly fantastic, it might be so.

If anything appears to be an outright lie, I won't deny I did know.

For weave we our lives from memory and thought

And fill in the holes so we don't come to naught.

I bring forth this question:

However interesting is the complete truth?

We all have our secrets to never let loose.

We all commit acts of which we regret

And soothe ourselves with what we beget.

You might think the yarn of truth is spinning frail

When saints rise and banshees wail.

When cast to hell is the demon of this house

With the mercy used to crush a louse.

The threads of evil stitch into our lives.

And leaving them intact puts us in great strife.

After which, patch we the tattering seams.

So our story flows like a running dream.

For a family is unified whatever befalls.

Allowing our bare facts out puts us in great thralls.

Whatever was the truth has been confessed.

And from the Father, we all were blessed.

Horrendous acts might cause our gain,

But on our hands, blood ne'er stained.

For all our sins, we've been absolved.

So all I share is what need be involved.

This is my story that I lay down for my kin.

May it serve as the cover for the truth woven within.
