while waiting in traffic for what seems like hours, nessa  thinks about the dream question she was asked earlier. she thinks about what it would be like to go to college and study music. she never did want to be an influencer so giving up the current life she has right now for a better more beneficial one to her seems like the right idea. nessa takes out her phone and opens up the text messaging app, texting the one person she knows will help her deal with her confusion.

nessa smiles down at her phone, her heart warm and fuzzy. she's glad that lea is still such a staple person in her life even if they're from two completely different worlds now. they'll always be like sisters to each other. with lea's suggestion in mind, nessa goes onto the new jersey conservatory website and begins her application progress. she decides that she doesn't need to tell any of her friends about this, especially josh. right now there's nothing to tell anyways so she'd just be worrying them for no reason. if she gets accepted and has to leave la they'll all be crushed and there's no use in getting them upset over something that might not even happen so she quickly applies and then locks her phone, putting it on the passengers seat and gripping onto the steering wheel with a smile on her face.
