Adora kept quiet as Princess Glimmer brushed back her hair into a tight ponytail. Glimmer was talking about her bestfriend, Bow, but Adora was too nervous to hear. She was scared of Princess Prom considering this is the first time she was invited. Although she was going with Glimmer and Bow she was still super nervous. Her knee was bouncing and Glimmer put her hand on it.
"Adora, it's going to be fun! All the Princesses are going to be there Frosta, Perfuma, Mermista," Glimmer realized this was making her more nervous, "and uhh yeah! Don't worry, plus you look... beautiful," Glimmer smiled at Adora while pulling her to the mirror.
The red dress flowed down past her knees, hugging her petite body. Her hair was pulled into a natural ponytail. She smiled at her reflection as Glimmer shoved a small flower into her blonde hair.
"Thank you, Glimmer. As long as you're there I'll be okay," their hands hooked together and they ran out of their room together, but they bumped into Glimmer's parents. The King and Queen of Bright Moon.
"Hi, Mom, Dad," Glimmer smiled up at them.
King Micah's eyes diverted down to their entwined hands and smiled, "you two have fun, okay?"
"Yes, and Glimmer you know your curfew. No later than that! Be safe and careful, especially since you'll he representing Bright Moon in a different place," Queen Angella says.
"Yes, Mother. Okay, bye guys I love you!"
Adora and Glimmer run past them and meet Bow outside.
"Wow, Bow, you look amazing!" Glimmer says throwing her arms around him. Adora followed her steps giving him a hug and a small peck on his warm cheek.
"Says you, you both look perfect," he gives them a little smirk.
"Thanks, Bow. You are the master of fashion," Adora giggles after saying this.
"Well, of course!"
Adora and Glimmer's eyes meet, they exchange a quick smile and Glimmer takes them to Princess Prom.

"SCORPIAAA!!" Catra screams out the door.
"What? What's wrong, Catra?!"
"Where is my tie?"
"Uhh," Scorpia looks around and finds it under her pillow, "right here."
Catra looks in the mirror and puts it on, Scorpia comes up behind her and rests her chin on Catra's head.
"Absolutely stunning, as usual, Catra," Scorpia says looking at her through the mirror.
"You look good too, Scorpia," she gives her a small smile.
"We still have a bit of time till we have to leave."
"Yeah, I know. I just wanna be ready, and look good because I know the princesses are going to be there."
"Catra, you don't have to be nervous. I know you, you'll be great."
"Well you know how everyone is. After me made amends with all the princesses they still look at The Horde as if we're out to kill them all still."
"Okay? This is your chance to prove them wrong. I believe in you, Catra."
They look at eachother in the eyes, "I know I'm always sort-of mean and stubborn, but thank you, Scorpia."
Scorpia smiles at Catra and stands up, Catra grabs her by the pinchers and they walk out the door.
"Or should I say Princess Scorpia?" Catra laughs.
"Shut up, Catra," Scorpia pulls her closer as they walk down the long hallway.
Rogelio, Kyle, and Lonnie bump into them.
"Why do you guys look all fancy?" says Lonnie.
"We have to go to Princess Prom," answers Scorpia.
"Catra? At a Princess Prom? I don't believe it," Rogelio and Kyle laugh at Lonnie's remark.
"Well I don't see you doing anything to make The Horde a better place so why don't you just shut up and let us be! Come on, Scorpia," Lonnie backs up.
"Calm down, Catra. It was a joke."
"Well I didn't like it."
She let's go of Scorpia and starts down the hallway again, as fast as she can. Scorpia races after her.
"Hey, Kitty, it's okay. Just ignore them they're always goofing off."
"Well then why didn't you say something? You're always so scared! Stand up for your friend for once why don't you! I've known you for years and not once have you had the guts to talk back. Stop being so soft Scorpia..." Catra leaves her be and walks out the door.
Scorpia slowly follows after and they find themselves on their way to Princess Prom.

They were late because of Scorpia, and Catra was more than embarrased. When they entered all eyes turned to them, they stuck out like a sore thumb. Everyone started to whisper at the sight of them. It's the first time anyone from The Horde has made a big apperance somewhere. Catra and Scorpia turned and walked down the stairs sort of holding eachother, but you could tell they were stiff.
"Why'd we come to this again?"
"Catra, stop. It's fine," Scorpia replied.
"Fine, but know one thing, I am not going to enjoy myself here."
"Why don't we go and try to talk to some people?"
"No, I don't want to."
"We have to at least try, Catra. You realize we're going to get no where if we don't make a good impression. Plus Hordak won't be impressed."
"Whatever, just small talk though."
"Sounds like a deal."
They walked towards a table together and tried to talk to everyone.
"Hello! How ar-" Scorpia gets cut off.
"Sorry, this table is full," someone said gesturing to the full table.
"Oh, we're sorry."
They went to a table that wasn't so full, and tried again.
"Hello, how are you guys tonight?"
They stared blankly back at Catra and Scorpia, then exchanged looks to eachother.
"Uh hi? We're good I guess," one of them said.
"That's good. We're trying to find people to talk to so we can try to enjoy ourselves," Scorpia gave them a warm smile.
"Well, you can take a seat I guess," it was someone else this time.
"Thank you," Scorpia took a seat, but Catra was still standing, "Catra have a seat... please?"
"Fine," she sat down akwardly.
"You guys are from The Horde right?"
"Hey! You can't just ask them that," someone said to the younger girl who asked.
"Oh, it's fine. Yes, we are," replied Scorpia.
One of the little kids went up to Catra, and slightly pulled her tail. She yanked her tail back and hissed at the kid, he still continued though, simply unphased, "do you talk? What's your name?"
There was silence, Scorpia gave Catra a look, "yes, I talk, just not here. My name is Catra."
"Wow!! That's a really cool name! Ca-tra... cat-ra," the kid continued to excersize the name it his mouth. Catra leaned her chin on her hand, ignoring everyone, until some people catch her eye. She didn't even realize when Scorpia got up.
"Hey! Where are you going?"
"To get something to drink, just stay here, I'll be back soon," Scorpia left a little peck on her forehead before leaving.
"Bye."
The others talked amongst themselves while Catra's eyes stayed glued to these three people. She recognized two of them. Bow and Princess Glimmer, they fought against them during the war. She didn't recognize the blonde though. She was very pretty, and she had a very nice dress on.
Catra stood up and walked down the stairs towards them, then realized that she should probably wait for Scorpia. Her foot beat up and down on the staircase while she waited for Scorpia to return, but after 5 minutes she still wasn't there so she continued towards the blonde girl. Catra stopped, pretending to examine the food on the other end of the table.
Her eyes converted to Princess Glimmer's hand entwined with the blonde girl's hand. Maybe they're together thought Catra. She looked back at the cake then turned towards them, she started to walk to them, her nails trailing along the table. She stopped right beside Bow, they were talking to eachother and it took awhile for them to recognize Catra.
When they did Catra tried to give a warm smile, but could tell she failed. Her cheeks flushed with embarrassment and suddenly she wanted to leave. Quickly she sucked in a breath and ignored the feeling.
"Hey, Sparkles, how have you been?"
Glimmer looked at her, "we've been good ever since you called off the war. What about you?"
Catra was surprised that she wasn't annoyed or mad, "uh, yeah, I've been pretty good actually. How about you... Bow is it?"
"Oh, I'm good. Livin' like normal, except no... war," they seemed the same to Catra. She wasn't particularly interested in them though, she could honestly careless about them.
"Who's your friend?" Catra's eyes darted to Adora, she skimmed her from head to toe and smiled.
"This is Adora, also... She-Ra," Glimmer said proudly leaning her head on Adora's shoulder.
"Oh, so I do know you, you helped them in the war."
"Yep, I guess so, I remember seeing you a few times," she was slightly nervous, Catra could tell.
"Well, hey Adora... Nice to meet you, I'm Catra," Catra smiled and pushed her hand towards Adora.
"It's nice to meet you too, Catra," her hand was pulled out of Glimmer's and she met Catra's. Catra smiled when she realized Glimmer was finally annoyed. They shook hands, "I look forward to talking again later. I better get back to Scorpia though," Catra spun on her heels and went back to the table in a good mood.
"Why are you in such a good mood? Also where have you been?"
"Oh, I just ran into some old friends from the war," Catra answered Scorpia.
"Well I got you this drink, here."
"Thank you, Scorpia," she leaned up and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
Scorpia turned red and hid her face, Catra never usually gives kisses. Catra sipped her drink and continued to talk to the others.
