Mad-Eye Moody showed up at my office at 3pm at the ministry on Friday. He took one glance around my messy office and sighed.
"Clean up this mess Nymphadora!" He barked walking around and looking through the files that I had been sorting through only moments before. I glared at him and raised an eyebrow. The amount of times I tell him to not tell him to call my Nymphadora and he still does it!
"What do you want Mad-Eye?" I growled slightly looking up at him from the file of the robbery at Hogsmede that I was working on.
"I have a job for you." He answered shortly without looking up from the stack of files.
I sat up straighter In my seat. A job? For me? I was an auror, the youngest and one of only five females. We never got any dangerous jobs, which were the ones I wanted to get. Instead we got the small crime criminals, the ones nobody else wanted to bother with. So what in the world could Moody possibly want with me? He then began explaining the secret organization called the Order of the Phoenix, a group to fight He Who Must Not be Named. From what he said I was impressed. They sounded like a very powerful group, so what could they need with me? Mad-Eye then said, much to my surprise that he wanted me to be a part of the order and that I was to attend a meeting the following Friday. I was excited but also very scared out of my mind but still I nodded to once to show him that I understood and that I would come to the meeting.
"Remember this Nymphadora, you must realize the importance of keeping this confidential." And with that information he stalked out of the room, shutting the door behind him. It took me a few minutes to understand, that if word got out not only me, but everyone in the order would be in deep trouble. I sat back in my chair, thoughts whirling already anticipating the following Friday.
