Coffee and troubles

The sound of birds in the early morning couldn't be any more frustrating.

Even after being awake for the past 24 hours, everything was irritating, as Inpu put it. This young man, in his second year and college was living it pretty normal as he put it. Inpu had just transferred school with their sibling and their best friend. Inpu didn't want to move, he admitted that. Having to move after they had fallen into the rhythm of their old school was difficult, but he had to at least do this for Solis and Magnus

Maybe pulling an all nighter wasn't the best idea. Nonetheless Inpu still did it. Studying ahead of time was a pain and the more he stared at the words in his textbooks, the more they became hasy. So he sighed as he leaned back in his chair. He needed something strong to help him. Coffee sounded right at that moment. So Inpu was off to go get coffee, and a hot chocolate for solis, who was still sleeping? A deep sleeper for sure.

Inpu walked towards the college campus where the well known coffee shop laid at. The only reason he had heard of it was because Magnus had gotten a job there to help with funds. Aswell to get away from Solis as much as possible. Once he stood in front of the shop, he read the letters that hung on top. "The Oasis". Before stepping inside.

He looked over at the register to see Magnus and two other workers taking the morning shift as well. Inpu had gotten to line to order but once he reached the register Magnus had already given him his drinks.

"One black coffee and one hot chocolate with extra whipped cream," Magnus said before grabbing the money in Inpu's hand.

Sometimes it stunned Inpu of how prepared Magnus was. He shrugged it off as Inpu walked over to a nearby table and sat down to enjoy his coffee before Magnus joined him.

"So whats up?" Inpu asked Magnus as he saw them stretch their limbs.

"Nothing Much, just waiting." They said as they reached over to grab a napkin.

"Waiting for what?"

"We had an accident with caramel and we ran out so boss man is having his roommate bring a bottle of caramel sauce." Mangus stated as they played with a napkin.

Inpu looked at the workers, the white hair dude looked to shy for them to be boss dude. The only person left was the blue hair guy, he sounded like he was confident enough to be the boss and he made sure everyone was smiling. So Inpu turned to Magnus. "So boss man is blue hair dude?"

Magnus' expression did not change as they said, "nope."

Inpu wanted to ask who boss man was but he decided not to push it. It was none of his business, but it would be nice to know of them and thank them for letting Magnus have this job. He looked up to see that Magnus had gone to their own world as they fidgeted at the napkin.

"You actually passed them as you came in."

He did? Was he that blind to notice? He could have sworn he didn't see anyone as he came in, man he really did need to focus more onto his surroundings. Inpu took a sip of his coffee before finishing it all. He waved goodbye to Magnus before heading towards the door. He passed a man with blue hair and with a smirk on his face. He was holding a bottle before he tossed it to Magnus. So that must be the boss man's roommate. He shook the feeling away as he walked back home to Solis with their hot chocolate.

As he arrived home, he heard the sounds of laughter. He opened the door to see Solis warped up in a blanket sitting on the couch watching cartoons. Solis glanced at Inpu before making grabby hands for the hot chocolate. Inpu gave him his drink before sitting down as well.

"Tired?" Solis had simply asked as he then took a sip.

Inpu had only nodded yes before looking at the ceiling. The school year had barely started and he was already dying. To think he might have had it easy this year, fate told him otherwise. He looked over to Solis who was engrose into the cartoon before sighing and heading towards his room.

His room was simple, nothing much but a bed, a desk with books and papers and a night stand. He meant to put up something nice but he never got around the time to do that. All that he knew was that he was sleepy and he needed some rest. So he closed his eyes and his mind went somewhere else as he slept for that day.

When he had awakened it was already 4 in the afternoon. He yawned as he got up and went to go see what Solis was up to. Once in the living room he saw Solis drawing as usual and Magnus was on their phone. Inpu took a set between them as they relaxed. Inpu looked for a channel to watch. The news was interesting to say at least. Mostly stuff about tik tok, and the update of businesses around. It was all the same, so Inpu decided to scroll around the internet till the time to make dinner.

"What do you guys want for-" Inpu was about to ask when he was cut of by both Magnus and Solis.

"Nuggies."

Inpu rolled his eyes before going ahead to make the nuggies. He got all the ingredients out, homemade nuggies were better than the store bought. So as Inpu started to pour the flour into a bowl, his hand had slipped, dropping it all onto the floor. Inpu was horrified and disappointed in himself. Magnus and Solis turned around to see the sight. Before he knew it Solis was rolling on the ground and Magnus gave a chuckle. Inpu flushed in embarrassment.

Inpu grabbed the broom and started to clean up the mess. Just great, maybe he won't be able to make nuggies tonight. But in all glory Magnus handed Inpu money. He stared at them confused.

"Store."

Ohhh that's what they meant. They wanted him to go to the store to buy some more flour. Inpu had taken the money and grabbed his jacket.

"Ok i'll be back soon. Magnus don't burn the place down, Solis behave while i'm out." Inpu said, not as a request but as an order.

It was nice and cool outside as he walked to the nearest convenience store. Inside the store it was quiet. A few people here and there but overall quiet. He soon found himself walking the aisles to find the flour. Once he did, he walked to the front to buy the flour. Apparently the person in front of him in line was the same man he saw in the coffee shop. He saw them chatting away with the cashier and he couldn't help but overhear.

"-I swear, if that dumbass makes me go run errands for him. I'll put a snake in his bed while he's asleep." said the blue-haired man.

The cashier looked concerned. "Doesn't that seem too extreme?"

"Nah, it serves him right."

"Ok..." The cashier said nervously unsure what to do. "That'll be 4.89"

The blue-haired man took out his wallet and paid the money for his items. "It was nice seeing you Xylo." The blue haired man waved goodbye as he walked out the store.

So the man behind the register was called Xylo. "that'll be 3.32."

Inpu had handed the money to Xylo when he almost went crashing into someone by the door.

The person who he almost crashed into was short. His hair was light brown, he wore blue jeans, and an oversized white hoodie. It seemed that The shortie didn't notice them about to run into each other. He looked tired, like he had run a mile.

"Xylo! Did Jyles pass by!?!" The man had asked like he was going to murder him.

"Yeah, he just left. Bryan whats wr-" Xylo was saying before getting cut off.

"No time!" He yelled as he ran out the door, to catch Jyles he supposed.

That was definitely strange for sure. Inpu looked at Xylo who was calling someone. Inpu left it alone as he walked away from the store and towards home. Inpu hoped that today won't be a repeat of everyday.
