Dani

It's was Thursday afternoon, around 3. I was on my way to my art class. I don't make eye contact so I look down at my feet as I pace the halls. This is the last period of the day and then I was able to go home and sleep. As soon l as I stepped through the door, a new girl catches my eye. You see, I'm gay, like very gay. Only my best friend, Liz, knows that. I tried not to but I couldn't help but stare at the girl. She was average height, masculine, brown kinky hair and green eyes to die for.

"Dani, you can take your seat next to Mia." Mrs. Clint appoints. Of course she sits next to me, of all the empty seats in the classroom. How am I supposed to sit next to a hot ass girl and not stare and be awkward.

"So Mia, how is it here at Tating High?" Dani asks with a flirty tone.
Maybe that's just in my head, I tell my self.

"It's okay I guess, I mean we're pretty basic here." I reply nervously as Dani scoots her chair closer to me. Her perfume hit me like a tidal wave. She smelled so good, like a hazy dream.

"Are you from here?" I only asked because I freaked out trying to distract myself.

"No, I'm originally from Indiana, but I decided to move here to Iowa. Gas cost less here." She laughed. Her laugh was so cute.

"I guess you're right."

So how was the big move, miss it back home?"

"It wasn't hard but I guess I miss a few of my friends"

"You seem chill, I like that about you."

I blushed.

"Th-thanks. You too!"

The day period went on for what felt like an eternity. It was so hard not to just grab Dani and kiss her. I stared at her lips so long I didn't realize the bell rang.

"I know it's sudden, but do you wanna come over after school and finish getting to know each other?" Dani asked with a smile.

Of course I said yes!

"Lemme text my mom and let her know quickly."

We walked all the way from school to Dani's new house. It was a nice house still with a few boxes.

"We're home alone so what do you wanna do?

I blushed at the thought of us in a house by ourselves.

"I-ion know." I replied fastly.

She smirked.

This girl is so flipping hot!

We make our way to her room and sat on her bed. It was so soft, and didn't creak. I blushed once more at that thought too.

"What do you feel like talking about then?"

I don't know really." I did know. I wanted to scream I like Dani and pull her close. It was too risky though.

I finally built up the nerve to say something.

"You should probably know I'm like hella gay."

Silence.

"Really?"

"Yea and I totally get if you don't feel the same way back, you probably don't, but I like you."

Silence.

I thought I messed up big time until she did something I didn't think she would do in a million years. She grabbed my face gently and pulled me closer until her soft lips met mine. I dissolved into that moment. It felt so real, so amazing. She pulled back.

"I am too.." she declares.

I smile ever so wide and kiss her again but this time much longer. She ran her left hand up my side while her right hand was touching my face. She then got in my lap with her legs wrapped around me and kissed me passionately. It was the best day of my life!
