The Coven

A simple spell

Willow sat alone inside her pentagram meditating. She hating being alone but she had no siblings and her parents were dead. (They died saving her from a pack of wolves near where they lived.) Willow stopped meditating and left her pentagram. She blew out her candles and covered her pentagram with her bedroom rug. "Good morning Roomie" said Willow's room mate Kennedy "Morning" Willow said as she quickly locked her bedroom door and headed towards the front door "Where are you going ?" Kennedy said in a suspicious voice " I am going out. I'll be back later" said Willow as she walked out of her rented house and walked down the street.

Willow took out her shopping list for her ingredients for a protection spell and she headed to the magic shop.
"Bayala, do you by any chance have a yellow and blue candle?" Willow asked the Bayala ,the shopkeeper, "Yes I do . They are right over there in the wooden table" Bayala said whilst pointing at the table "Thank you" Willow said and she walked over to the crooked table and picked up one yellow and one blue candle. Then, Willow walked over to the counter and gently p!aced her candles onto the wooden surface. Bayala tapped her machine "That'll be £2.00s please" Bayala said to Willow smiling. Willow handed Bayala the money and Bayala put the money into the money drawer. "Thank you. May I ask what spell you are going to do" Bayala said curiously "I am doing a protection spell. You can join me if you want." said Willow smiling " thank you let me just get my coat. Do you mind if I bring a fellow witch with me?" Bayala said putting on her coat "No I don't mind being as many people as you want." Willow said smiling again this time she was looking at some new things in Bayala's store " SARAH! We are going out come on. I will leave Maggie in charge of the store" shouted Bayala and Sarah suddenly appeared. They left and headed for Willow's house.

"Okay guys let's sit down around the pentagram" said Sarah as she sat down " what's the spell and items needed?" Sarah said again. "1 large scarf or blanket, 1 green candle, 1 yellow candle, 1 red candle and 1 blue candle. We have all of those things." said Willow placing the candles at the four directions: Green in north, yellow in east, red in the south, blue in the west. "Willow you need to light them" said Sarah as she draped the scarf over her head "What's next?" Bayala said "we say the spell" Willows said as she sat down " Say these words at the same time as each other. Got it? " Willow said again this time looking more serious. Bayala and Sarah nodded and they began the spell:

"Elementals, hearken to me.
Give my words the strength to be.
Lord and Lady, bless this spell.
An it harm none, shall it work well.

Veil of protection,soft and warm,
Insulate me from curse or storm.
So evil shall you turn aside,
Around a only love abide.

And as I lift this blanket from my head,
I leave a veil of magick instead.
Protective shield, around me stay,
Keep all bad energies at bay
Throughout the night and everyday." They said

The girls chanted the spell until the pentagram flew a white shade and then it disappeared. "We did it " shouted Sarah as she hugged Willow and Bayala. "You guys should come over more often" Willow said. Bayala looked was "I am sorry but I won't be able to as I run the shop but I am sure that Sarah would" said Bayala. Willow nodded and Bayala and Sarah left with smiled on their faces. "See you soon then Sarah" Willow said as she waved to the girls " You to" shouted Sarah waving back. Willow shut the door and smiled.
