"Operation L O V E" [Invader Zim] [Zim X OC]

Chapter one: Arrival

It was rather early when the staff of the school building instructed the kids to come inside, for it was class time. Their giggles and rather obnoxious babbling seemed to echo around the area. Zim, of course, casually strutted behind the mob of children, being he didn't want their disgusting hands on him. He walked into his main class, sitting down in his seat after giving Dib a hard shove, keeping the mortal enemy vibe flowing between them. The class' teacher, Mrs. Bitters, stood up and opened for the door for another filthy earth child "Class, we have, yet again, another new student joining this putrid group of goblins. Meet...Kaii," she spoke with her raspy, constantly grumpy tone as she nudged this new student in.

Zim turned his attention from Dib to this so called 'Kaii'. He was rather small for a human child of this age, around four feet tall. He had a very feminine build, with fluffy ginger hair, which most was in long braids that draped behind his back. He had a rather pale skin tone, with small little freckles scattered across his cheeks, but what stood out the most were his eyes. An unnatural shade of blue, almost a spacey blue, it seemed like. "Take your seat if you don't have anything to say," Mrs. Bitters growled, Kaii squeaking quietly as he quickly hopped over to an empty desk, which coincidentally was close to Zim. He watched as this new child sat down, and surprisingly paid attention to Mrs. Bitters' lecture about some science topic. Zim could feel that something was off about Kaii..he just couldn't figure out what. He glanced at his appearance, studying it again. His outfit was a lot similar to his own, except it was blue and the armor was replaced by a somewhat oversized sweater and the tights were replaced with shorts. Kaii sensed someone's gaze on him and started to turn his head in Zim's direction, who quickly looked away as if he wasn't doing anything. Kaii shrugged it off and went back to work, writing down some notes on a small note pad.

Zim was bothered that he couldn't find the reason that made this new child seem odd to him. Maybe, he thought, if he tried to confront this Kaii, he could get some backstory from him, so the pieces in his mind could click together. Yes! A wonderful idea! Zim thought to himself. He smiled with a bit of menace lingering in it. As if on cue, the school bell for lunch rang, and the children all rushed out of the doorway, the little earthlings seeming so desperate to get their grubby hands on that horrible cafeteria food. After Dib and his intimidating sister Gaz, Kaii walked out, following the two. Zim quietly followed behind the new student, planning his introduction as they made their way to the cafeteria. He was ready for answers.
