"hey!" you call to soda and the rest of the gang as you start carrying things to the car. "hey" calls Steve. today you guys are going to the beach. everyone else goes inside to eat while you carry things to the car. "you look beautiful." says soda looking at you like you are the prettiest woman he's ever seen. "thanks" you smile. "the sun gives you natural highlights and they are really pretty." he says taking your hand. "stop looking at me like that." you snap. "why?" he chuckles. "please stop" you whisper looking away and blushing dangerously. "just reject me already ok!" he says annoyed. "i mean i'm giving you obvious signs and you keep ignoring them so please all i'm asking is tell me if you are interested or not." he pleads. looking hurt he turns to leave. "wait!" you yell. "why should i? i've been waiting all my life and i can't wait forever." he yells as he turns to face you. now the gang is standing there and staring. you don't really care right now. " because i love you!" you answer soda's question. "i love you goddamnit. i love the way you laugh i love the way you smile and i love the way you are always happy and i love you. and that scared the shit out of me!" you yell now in tears. "i'm scared because i didn't think you would love me. and i'm scared because i don't want my heartbroken and i'm scared." "terrified." you whisper. shaking and crying you turn to leave but soda grabs your waist and turns you towards him. he leans in and kisses you. "i'm scared too." he smiles as you kiss him your arms around his neck and his hands on your waist. he wipes your tears away with your thumb and and kisses you again.
