Prince Bay opened his handsome green eyes. He stretched his large dark blue wings. They were at war with the NightWings. Bay was only a year old, but he was a really good fighter, so his mother, Queen Coral, allowed him into the council with the spies. He heard talonsteps walking this way, so he looked around and saw his uncle Shark. Shark narrowed his eyes, and then lit up a few stripes. What are you doing here? The queen wants you in the council chamber immediately. He flashed. Oops. Bay looked up at the light-colored water and realized that there was another meeting going on, where the spies were supposed to be back with news of the Night Kingdom. I'll be right there. He flashed back. Bay swam to the council chamber. The spies were explaining everything. Bay slid into his pool and listened closely. There was no interesting news, apparently, so Bay looked underwater to see if he could spot anything interesting. Sometimes there were crabs in his pool. "There is something new, though, my queen." One of the spies said. Bay sat up so quickly that he almost didn't hear what the spy said next. "There is a new dragonet who hatched tonight. An animus dragonet. And her name," said the other spy. Bay leaned in closer to hear what he was going to say next. "Was Lightbringer."

Bay was called into the Council chamber again. Just him and his mother this time. "Ah. You're here," she said. "Son, let me skip ahead to the point. I don't want to waste my time here. I have another scroll i am working on and it's about -" Coral clapped her talons together and restarted the sentence. "So!" she said. Bay had a sinking feeling this was going to take forever. "I need you to go to the Night Kingdom. And meet this Lightbringer. You have to find her and bring her on our side. We could use another animus, since Anemone and Turtle are at school. You can only return home once she is on OUR side. Find her weaknesses. Use them. I hear her parents hate dragonets, so use that as your advantage. Do whatever you have to, but make sure that she is on our side." she said. Bay was stunned. But he knew that this was his chance. From the moment he had heard her name, he had known she was part of his destiny. He smiled at the direction of the Night Kingdom. I'm coming for you, Lightbringer.
