𝐏𝐋𝐎𝐓: after jackson marchetti's uncomfortable breakup with maeve wiley, he was spiraling- breaking his own wrist to get out of swimming, pushing away his friends, even his moms- and there was nothing anyone could do about it.
well, except for valentina mcbride. she was determined to get him back to normal again, and that was on doing whatever it took. all she wanted was the old jackson back- the one who'd carry her books for her and wait for her after school, the one who'd make sure things at home with her dad wouldn't get so horrible, the one who'd defend her from his moron friends. she missed him, she missed tutoring him after class until that vivian girl took over.
valentina remembered when he told her that he loved her. when she loved him back. she said it. but then all jackson wanted to talk about was maeve, and that was when she stopped loving him.
because that was when he'd forgotten how to love her.
𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐄𝐒: - you can change the description if you want since it's pretty bad lol. - valentina is friends with ruthie, florence and the theatre kids, and steve. she's very studious and was jackson's tutor for a long time until he started dating maeve. - valentina has always come to every one of jackson's swim meets, even after he stop hanging out with her. - valentina lives with her older sister (played by debby ryan) and her father (played by james mcavoy) - her father is abusive when he has too much to drink. the only people who know about this is jackson and olivia, when she was walking by valentina's house and heard them. - you can decide if olivia holds it over valentina or if she tries to help her - i always imagine jackson having a nickname for valentina, like val or tina or something - i think that jackson and valentina should end up together in the end, but if you want the story to go another way that's totally fine. - jackson is my underrated bean he deserves better smh 😠
