Overdose of Shadows

The shadows would cling onto your lungs.

They fill up your entire body, choking you until you can't breath.

They surrounded your eyes, making everything pitch black.

You have to quickly turn on the light, somehow, to get them to disappear.

Today, we still don't have shadows.

Don't go looking for us. We blend in with the crowd, hiding in other people's shadows so you don't question us.

I still have them attack me at night.

They have been more active frequently. We can't breath when I wake up in mornings. The shadows watch us from the trees.

We whisper to each other. We stay alone, trying to stay in the forests.

We're normal people.

Yet not normal at all.

We are the Blended.
