Ok so...Before we start. As you all know it is pride month. So I made a short little pride month Tododeku story. I hope you enjoy it!
Todoroki's P.O.V.
It's pride month. And I'm not sure if I want to celebrate. I mean, it's only June 5th. But there have been so many gay couples getting attacked by angry citizens.
And I'm a afraid they'd attack me and Deku. I'm more worried about Deku more than me.
I was sitting up in bed looking out the window next to my bed. Deku was nuzzled beside me. He was whispering sweet nothing's to himself.
I smiled while looking at him. I decided to wake him up. "Hey babe...it's time to get up," I whispered into his ear. He rolled over and put his pillow over his head. "No.." He said. "Come on..." I whispered in his ear again. "I'll give you a little treat later..." I said in a seductive tone. "Ok!" He practically jumped.
I laughed a little. "Come on I'll make you some breakfast." I said. "Alright," he giggled.

It was about noon when Deku came up to me. "Hey babe?" He asked. "Yeah?" I said. "Why don't you wanna go to pride?" He asked with a pouty face. I knew this question was coming.
"You aren't ashamed are you?" He asked with a concerned look. "No! Nothing like that," I exclaimed. "Its just..." I started. I let out a sigh. He sat down on my lap and kissed my forehead. "Come on you can tell me," he said.
"I'm scared," I told him.
"What?! Why?! Why would you be scared on pride month?!" He exclaimed. "You heard about what happened with the couple's getting attcked," I said. "I'm worried that they'll do the same to us,"
He looked at me and smiled.
"Shoto," he said. I looked at his emerald green eyes. "We're hero's," he said. "We can protect ourselves,"
He sat up on my lap and held his hands on my face. "We'll be fine,"
I smiled. "I guess you're right," I said. "I was just overreaching,"
He giggled and looked me in the eye. He caressed my face. "I love you," he said. "I love you too," I said back.
I placed my hands on his face and kissed him lightly. He pulled back and giggled. "Can we go to pride now?" He asked. "You kidding?" I asked. "I wouldn't miss it for the world," I told him.
He smiled. He got up and went to our room. "I'll be right back! I'm just gonna change, ok?" He said. I nodded to show him I agreed. "Love ya!" He said. And then he went down the hallway.
I leaned back in my chair and smiled. I was scared at first about going to pride. But now that I realized it, we can protect ourselves.
I sat up and looked out the window. I'm proud of who I am. I'm proud that he is my lover. And no one can tell me otherwise.

I saw hundreds of people. No, thousands. I saw people holding flags, posters, and some people were wearing shirts. Some people painted their faces.
It was a big crowd. And I'm not that kinda person who likes big crowds. So I hid behind Deku. "What's wrong?" He asked. "I don't like big crowds," I told him.
"Its ok! All these people here are just like us," he reassured me. "Ok," I said. I held his hand because I was still a little uneasy. Then out of nowhere someone jumped on top of both of us.
"Hey guys! Happy pride!" A familiar voice said. "Oh Hi Uraraka," Deku said. I turned around to see a smiling Ochaco Uraraka.
She was holding a Pan and Bisexual flag. Her face was painted rainbow. And standing next to her was her significant other, Tsuyu Asui.
"Hey Midoryia, ribbit." She said. Her face was also painted rainbow. She was holding a big rainbow flag. "Oh Tsu, give them what I wanted to give to them," she said. Then Try gave me and Deku the big flag they had.
"There you go," she smiled. "Oh you really didn't have to," Deku said trying to give it back. "No no, keep it," she insisted. She then pulled out face paint. "You guys want some?" She asked. "Sure," Deku said. " You want some, Todoroki?" Tsu asked. "Why not," I said.
Uraraka painted a rainbow heart around Deku's eye. I had a flag on my cheek. "Hey guys!" I heard a voice call. It was Kirishima. He was walking up to us with Bakugo. He was wearing a rainbow heart shirt and honestly he looked pretty confident wearing it.
"We thought you guys left already," he said. "Na we just got here," Deku said. "Then what are we doing sitting around? We should get moving," Kirishima said.
"Yeah!" Uraraka cheered. "You guys go ahead," I said. "We'll catch up,"
They all looked at me. "Is something wrong?" Deku asked. "I just wanna talk with you," I replied. "Ok then we'll see ya," Kirishima said. And then headed off.
"So what is?" He asked. I grabbed the flag and put it around him. "I want us to wear this like we're never taking it of," I said. He looked confused. And then he smiled.
"Oh Shoto!" He exclaimed, jumping in my arms. I hugged him tight. Then I pulled the flag over me. "Let's catch up with the other," I said. He nodded.
Then we walked back to our friends. Hand in hand.

Happy pride month everyone! And just for any people who are struggling with coming out and are not sure about themselves. Don't be afraid to be who you are. Don't be afraid of what others think. Be who you are and know that you are who you are, and no one is going to change that. Have a great pride month everyone!
