The day had been normal for the boy Ezerah he said goodbye to his mom as he left for school. Ezerah met with his friends that usually join him for the walk half way through and they chatted as they walked talking of games, sports and an increasingly popular topic among his friends women. The biggest difference in the day. The thing that changed his life from normal to strange all within the time span of an hour was a note within his locker asking to meet whoever had sent the letter behind the school. Of course Ezerah, never having any experience with love confessions immediately assumed it was just that and had planned to see if he knew the lucky lady before giving his answer. Now Ezerah claims whenever someone brings it up that his love life was,  " An unfortunate miscarriage that has no chance progressing." Everyone his tells that to tries to comfort him and say it'll happen eventually. Ezerah never believed those words as he was already in high school and had no interest in anyone romantically, so Ezerah was going to accept the confession if they met his standards for looks and attitude.

Ezerah spent the whole school day thinking about the letter, it had interrupted several classes when the teacher asked him a question only to find that Ezerah was spacing out the whole time. By the end of the day Ezerah had been scolded by every teacher even if the teacher didn't even teach him.

Ezerah was shocked to see who was in front of him. The girl had been Hope, a girl in his class with a cold personality to match the pitch black of her hair and dark brown of her eyes. To say that he was surprised was an understatement he was astounded that the girl with the ever present scowl would want to talk to him and confess her love for him of all people.

"I don't want to confess to you if that's what you're thinking, I want to make a deal," Hope said monotonously. Ezerah gulped shot down immediately," What is the deal?" Ezerah was frightened at what hope might want, seeing as she seemed to have everything she could want he was rightfully confused. "I need you to help me saving the kingdom Jevelent from the cruel king." "A-alright," Hope smiled," I knew you would do it" instead of finding the smile happy he found it down right threatening. With a sudden flash of light Ezerah found himself on the ground in pain. "What was that?" Ezerah groaned out. He sat up and realized he was no longer behind the school he was on top of a hill looking down at a town of bustling people. " That was us being transported to Jevelent," Hope said, though now she was in a dress that had holes where the shoulders were instead of the formal suit and skirt Hope wore on a normal basis. " I won't be able to help you very much so I insist that you find people to help you learn to fight, Hope knows you need it, and you should find someone to teach you to use your magic it would be useful." "Wait wait wait, magic fighting whats going on why the change of clothes, I don't understand anything?" Ezerah needed answers to the sudden chaos he was thrust into head first. Hope sighed, " Everyone has a unique magic you can get other magic, but you either lose your unique and special magic or getting it could result in the death of you or others. You need to know how to fight, because you agreed to help against the Cruel King Veneke who is trying to take over Jevelent." Hope paused and pinched the bridge of her nose, "Try not to mention me to anyone you meet I am the well you could say that I am the divinity of this world the maker the creator, which is why I cannot do much to alter the course in which my land is taking, so go and save Jevent." Hope then got Ezerah to his feet and proceeded to shove him off of the hill and towards the village.

The fate of Jevelent was now in the hands of Ezerah, someone that is nothing special but he'll have to try and save the world one way or another.
