Kasumi Kusetsu: Origin

I wake up to the sound of some soft crying. I sit up and rub the sleep from my eyes and so I get out of bed, I get dressed into my uniform an ugly green blazer which I never wear, a white button-up shirt, and long black pants.

I walk into the kitchen to see my mother on the floor crying into her hands and looking at a picture of my dad, I kneel next to her and give her a great big hug. "Its all right he was never here for us anyway and you don't have time to cry for him you need to get ready for work, I mean your The Phaze-Lock, the Phaze hero." Mum thanks me drys her eyes and gets ready for work.

Meanwhile, I make some amazing french toast with eggs and bacon on the side. "Mum breakfast is ready." I put the bread, bacon, and eggs on our plates and place them on the table with our utensils.
"So honey, how do I look I'm thinking of going back to my original costume." I see her in a dark purple and white jumpsuit with an oddly familiar pattern on it and a black unzipped hooded leather jacket with the words 'Phaze Lock' embroidered in purple on the back.
"Yeah, it looks old-school." I placed my dishes in the sink and walk down the hall, out the door. "Ok, I'm off to school." I close the door and walk to my Best friend's house which is just down the river from my house and our secret training area. I walk up to the front gate of the Umo residence and knock on the door.

I look around at the dying grass, the wilting flowers, and the boring beige paint on the house when the door opens. "Hello Mrs Umo I'm here to walk with Eiko is she ready?" Mrs Umo shuffles backward to lets me inside the house and I am immediately drawn to a portrait of Mr & Mrs Umo in their Military Uniforms with some metals hung underneath the portrait.
"Hi Kasumi, She's just gotten ready she is in her room, go say hi and hurry her up we don't want her to be late." I follow her direction and proceed up the stairs taking in the family photos of the Umo family before their horrible incident. I continue down the hall to Eiko's room.

I phase through her door and stand against the door. "Would you hurry up already? You women always take so long." She rolls her eyes at me and sighs while sort of gazing at my face as if trying to figure out if I'm dead inside or not. But she is not anymore normal than me I mean she has blue goddamn hair and she always seems to be happy.

"What have I told you about using your weird Pocket Dimension Quirk to get into my room?" She slings her bag over her shoulder while I shoot her a disgusted look. I'm not a pervert I was told she was ready, ugh women. "Come on." I grasp her arm and drag her through the door then down the stairs before letting go as I quickly leave the house. I hear a few goodbyes before I hear the door close and we continue to school. We walk our normal route along the river to our school. We get to the main gate and walk in as the bell rings to head to class the main building is a 3 story structure with brick walls and red tiles on the roof I say goodbye to Eiko and head to my Math class on the third floor.
