It's my first day of school and I'm nervous. I woke up at 7 Eve thoe school doesn't start till 8:30. I showed and went in my closet I wore my High wasted ripped Jean shorts with a white crop top hoodie that said Money across the front in gold letters with my white and gold red bottom Tom's.
"Bye mom" I said grabbing the car keys and leaving
My mom decided that I needed to drive to school cause I'm new around here so I got my licence last Friday. I called riya to see if she was ready. We've gotten closer lately
"Hello" she said
"You ready " I said
"Yeah"
"Right I'm on my way "
Turns out she lived 3 blocks away from me. I pulled into the drive way an honked the horn. She came shooting out the door like a kid who just saw the ice cream truck.
"Girl Why you so hyper!" I say laughing
"Cause it's your first day girrrlll, Nah but I drunk some coffee this morning "
I laughed hard
"Are those red bottom Tom's" she asked as I begin to pull off.
"Yeah"
"They Finna be on your heels girl"
"Who"
"Everybody girl. You got money honey" she said in a funny ass voice
We both started dieing
We arrived at school I parked and got my black MCM. Bookbag from out the back seat. When we walked in. It was 7:53 we were pretty early so we went to go get my schedule and when riya saw it she spazzed
"AHHHHHH" she screamed jumping up and down
"OMG what!" I said scared as fuck
" we have all the same classes!"
"Yesssss"I said overly excited
She walked me to my locker. Before I knew it the bell rang. We began to walk to 1st period when we walked in everybody was staring at me. The teacher waved me to come and tell her my name
"Everyone this is patience" Ms.Battor said
Some girl said what kind if name is Patience? And laughed
"It's my name.problem?"
"I wanna meet the stupid mutha fucka who named you " she said
"You Finna meet this stupid fist if you don't shut the Hell up " I said balling up my fist
"Do something trick" she fired
Mariya grabbed me before I can hit her and took me to the back of the class where all These other guys were sitting . Their were five guys two were Carmel skin and the other three were light skin. They were laughing and joking and paid no attention to me until zat said something
"Aye you the girl from the mall" he said
I didn't say anything I just stared (weired I know ) I was nervous I then got a text I opened my phone ,it was from riya
Riya Boo: Say somthing girl wtf!
"Yeah" I said after like five mins of akward silence
"Wassup " he said tryna hit on me
"It didn't work at the wall so it's not gone work here" I said
"Oooooooooohhh " they all said and started laughing
Riya introduced me to everybody " Patience this Lucas,Dario,Meech,.and you know zay and lo"
"Hi" I said shyly
"Wassup " they said and began talking about going to Buffalo wild wings on Friday .
"How we gonna get there. My mom tired of taking us" Lucas said
"Patience has a car"riya said
I stale faced her like bitch!
She laughed and texted me
Riya Boo:It'll be fun
Me: I don't do Well around boys Lol I'm shy
Riya Boo: Pleaseee, plus I can tell you like Dario you keep staring at him maybe you can sit by him at Bdubs.
Me: He is fine! But Idk bout all that but I guess Ill go.
Meech noticed that we were textin eachother and snatched riyas phone and read the message
"Ooooohh I'm telling " they all look at him and said what? Riya snatched her phone. As he told Dario what I said the bell rang I was the first one out the class room. It was lunch time and I sat with riya.
"Girl I'm pretty sure Dario don't even care" she said laughing at me freaking out
"I do!" I said trying not to laugh
"Wassup Y'all "meech. Said sitting next to me I gave him that gtfo face, him a riya started laughing and riya almost choked
"It's not fuckin funny!"I said to meech
"It's Ok he don't care,it's not gone make him act weird or nothing I promise "
"I guess " isaid
"Everybody sat at the circle lunch table when Dario sat down I tensed up and just got on twitter to avoid ant contact with anybody. Then I got a text from riya
Riya Boo: I saw that shit..........start ass
Me:Shut up!
Riya Boo: Dario Fine ain't he!
Me: yessss
She didn't reply so I looked up and Dario had riya phone while she went to the bathroom. I shook my head and laughed it off even thoe I was embarrassed. Everybody asked what I was laughing at I just said it was something on my phone . I got up embarrassed and walked away. Riya caught me as she was coming out the bathroom
"What's wrong Boo"she saw the embaressment all over my face
"Dario" I said
"Girl he doesn't care stop letting that bother you" she said
It was the End of the day and I was really ready to go home but hungry at the same time.
"So are you going to BDUBS Friday ? " she while walking to my truck my mom gave me
"Yea I guess" I said sadly
"Yayyy,Cheer up were gonna have fun Okay " she said
