°Iris's pov

Today we are moving to a place called Riversode, California. Of course we live in Washington so this is probably gonna take forever.

I really don't know how long it's gonna take. I just wanna go to sleep. Me and my mom finish getting everything in the car and we get in and then she starts driving.

We have been driving for a couple hours and it has gotten really boring and it's really hot. I take off my shirt. "What are you doing?" My mother asks me.

"It's hot." I tell her.

°Blaine's pov

I walk in the cafeteria at scholl and sit with my friends Ricky and Jax. Jax's girlfriend was sitting in his lap.

I don't get why people have girlfriends. If you are single you can sleep with whomever you want and whenever you want and you can pick which person you liked the best in bed.

Sierra Langston walks past me. Her cheer skirt showing the bottom of her ass cheeks on purpose. I smack her ass as she walks by and she turns and smiles at me. "Disgusting." I hear Jax's girl mutter. I turn and look at her.

"Do you have a problem?" I ask her.

"Yes I do. You're a pig." She says.

"I'm a hot, sexy pig." I say with a smirk.

"Gross. My baby is hot and sexy." She says kissing Jax. I fake gag and look away from them. They are so in love it's just disgusting.

After school I go to work. I work at flor's diner. I change into my work uniform and go work.

°Iris's pov

When we finally get to Riverside it is around 5:30 am the next day.

We have been driving for 30 hours. My mother pulls up to fhis dinner in Riverside called 'Flor's diner.

Yes, I had my shirt back on. We get out of the car. I grab my phone and we go inside. We sit down and the waiter walks up to us.

"My name is Blaine and I will be your waiter for today. What would you like?" He asks his dimples and braces showing.

"Blaine." My mother says.

"Mrs. Adams?" The boy says suprised.

"How is your mother?" She asks him.

"Great." He says and looks at me and winks. I look down and play with my hands.

"What would you like to eat?" He asks me. I look at my meanu.

"Pancakes with sausage, eggs, and bacon, please?" I say to him without looking up.

My mother orders her food and then I look up and he wasn't there. Great. I have never had a boyfriend. That's because I'm always labeled as the nerd, weirdo, virgin freak. I don't care that they call me that. It doesn't bother me.

Later we pull up to our house and go inside. My mother shows me to my room. It was big with a big walk in closet and a bathroom in it. There was a window looking out at the backyard. There was a pool back there. An in ground pool.

I go downstairs and the boy supposedly named Blaine and an older looking woman that looks exactly like him was standing downstairs. I look at them. "Hey." The woman says.

"Hi." I say lowly and I walk outside. I start grabbing my stuff.

"Need help?" I hear a deep, husky voice say from behind me. I turn and there was the boy. He had black hair, and emerald green eyes. He had a sharp jaw- line and his body was tall, lean, and muscular and then his right arm was filled with tatoos. He could be a surfer boy. A California surfer boy.

That's hiz new nickname California Boy.

"Uh- I think I got it." I say giving him a small smile. He shrugs and then leans against the car. I carry stuff up to my room and then I come back downstairs and go outside to the car. He was holding one of my books.

"The bridge from me to you? Really?" He asks.

"It's a great book." I say. He helps me carry the rest of my stuff up to my room and then him and his mom leave. I set up my room. My bed is by the window and I have two bookshelves on two sides of my room. I have fairy lights going across my room. I have my dresser in the corner and my tv is on the wall.

I lay on my bed. Tomorrow is my first day of school great. I check the time and it was 12:30 am. I go to sleep.

Hopefully tomorrow is fun.
