Toph's POV

As I was heading home, I felt my breathing halt as I sensed a familiar presence. No matter how long it'd been, I'd always recognize the way he walked. The watertribe boy had grown taller and more muscular in the 5 years since the war ended. I couldn't see him of course, but my seismic sense told me he was close by. Just as I was about to say hi to my old friend, I sensed someone else with him. I suppose it must be Suki. As I got closer I could feel their lips meet and quickly turned away, my heart aching.

Walking through the streets, I decided to stop in at a local bar. As I sat down and ordered my drink I was relieved to find another familiar presence in the small tavern.

"Haru?" I spoke, startling the man. Haru had come to help us during the war, and I'd run into him quite often since then. We'd grown close in the years since the war, and he was one of my closest friends now that Team avatar had split. When Aang and Katara went off to restore the Southern Air temple, Haru had been heartbroken. Despite my lack of comforting skills, I did my best to help him through, understanding what he was going through, as Sokka had left to aid the restoration of his tribe as well. I don't do mushy feelings, but Haru was easy to talk to. I'm glad I found him now.

"Toph! How's the greatest earthbender in the world?" He smiled at me but I only downed my drink and sighed.

"He's here," I muttered, knowing he understood what I meant, "with her." I felt him shift beside me and his strong arm around me was comforting. I wanted to cry, but no one was supposed to see that. Haru seemed to notice, because he suggested we go to my place for a while. I only nodded and began to leave, dropping a few silver pieces for our drinks.

As we came up to my house, I could feel Sokka less than a mile away, and my heart wrenched. Leading Haru in, I could feel his concern for me. I didn't want concern though, I wanted a distraction. As the door closed behind us I turned, pressing my lips to his.

"I don't want to feel him walking through the streets, please, help me feel something else." I felt as his pulse slowed a bit after the shock, and he seemed to understand. After the last time we had agreed not to let something like this happen again, but he knew I needed this. I needed to feel something that could take my thoughts away from the watertribe man currently getting closer and closer to my street. There were no sweet nothings, and no time was wasted as we reached my bed. My room had a large window looking out on the city, and I could sense his nervousness at being so exposed. He knew from before that I had no curtains, so he didn't ask. He knew I had no use for them since I couldn't see, and I've never cared much what others see of me. No one would risk spying knowing how powerful I am.

As I was trying to focus on the feel of his skin on my own, his lips pulled away from my breast, his movements hesitating.

"Toph..." I could hear the nerves in his voice, but I couldn't imagine why he felt that way. This wasn't new to us. "He saw us."

I felt myself flush as understanding crept in. My house was across the way from an inn, with one room directly across from my own. Of course he would be staying there. As I felt my heart pound in my chest, I could sense Haru's eyes on me, unsure of whether or not he should leave. The moment from earlier came back to mind and I quickly flipped the large man over, easing myself onto his member. He has Suki. He has no reason to care what I do or who I'm with. I tried to focus on our movements, the pleasure building up inside me despite the few tears that had managed to escape down my face.

"He's watching Toph" My eyes flew open at Haru's comment, and I could feel myself get excited at the idea. I knew I should be upset or disgusted, but if there was one person I wanted to see me like this, it was Sokka. I knew he most likely didn't recognize me, I had changed a lot since I last saw him, but that was better. Whether he knew it was me or not, I had a feeling that just maybe, he finally saw me as a woman.

Spurred on by that thought I rode Haru harder, faster. I could hear him let out a deep moan as he finished beneath me, and I followed suit wishing his voice belonged to the man across the street.

A/N: Hey there any random reader that sees this! This is my first time actually writing a fanfic and tbh I mostly did so cause I found that most of the Tokka fanfics I'd seen were left unfinished years ago and it bothered me. I haven't really edited it at all I was just writing for like two days straight. Therefore my grammar may be awful I apologize. Thanks for reading!
