Saleema's POV

I have been calling Babi for the tenth time now, but he isn't picking up, it's already 7:08pm but he isn't showing up. I sighed dialing the driver's number.

In less than 30mins, the driver arrived and we took off after saying goodbye to Hawwa, we arrived at home by 7:51pm.

I went further to my own side to take my bath and do dinner, before heading to Babi's side, the door was locked so I used my spare key to open, Babi wasn't inside again! I sighed and walked back to my side.

I sent the driver to go pick up A'eesh from Amma's, I don't know how long is Babi staying outside.

It didn't takes long and A'eesh is back,
I kept dialing his number but he still isn't picking up, I started to panic because he doesn't normally do that. I went to the bathroom and make ablution. Coming back to the room, I sprayed the prayer mat and prayed my Ishaa prayer.

After reciting the holy Qur'an for like 20 mins, I walked out to the living room and on the TV. My eyes was slowly getting heavier, and before I know... I dozed off.

The next thing I felt was me being scooped up by Babi, He was smiling like nothing happened and that just annoyed me.

"Get me down" I said sarcastically, he was even widening his smile, and walks towards my bedroom

"You know I can walk" I rolled my eyes, he wasn't even listening

"I am talking to you" I glared at him, he gently sat on the side of my bed, with me on his laps

"I am very sorry baby I was.." I cut him off

"Have you checked your phone? Kasan how many times I called you?! Kasan how worried sick was I?!" He smiled

"Why the hell are you smiling? Nifa nayi fushi ne ehhey" I told him.

"No ni nasan bakiyi ba and you'll understand" he said calmed, I rolled my eyes

"But I felt bad, at least call me and let me know you'll be late mana" I told him

"I am sorry, yeah hakane wlh bai zo kaina bane" he said and I raised a brow

"What do you just mean baizo kanka ba" I pursed my lips

"I have a surprise for you, now let's go outside first" he pecked my lips

"Surprise by this time?! It's freaking 12am fa" I told him and he nodded

"I know baby, Lets go kawai please" he insisted, I nodded out of options, I was having my cap on so we just walked out, to his own side.

He walked us further to his living room and what I saw was what drops my jaw down almost touching the floor.

"Aunty Ameenah!" I almost rushed to her and she stood up the moment she noticed our presence, I engulfed her into a warm hug before pulling back.

"Shi ne baza ka fada min ba Babi, I could have cooked you two something for dinner ai" I told him and he smiled

"I was doubting whether or not she will come ne, da kyar fa nasamu ta bini wallahi har sanda Aby yasa baki" he said

"Almuhim She's here dai" I smiled softly, she held my hands in hers

"Thank you for helping me survive my marriage, I don't know what I could have done to myself and my daughter if not because of your encouraging words and supportive shoulders. Thank you so much Saleema" she almost cried

"Haba Aunty Ameenah don't do that please" I told her.

"And here's the second surprise" Babi said and I looked at him

"Second surprise?!" I asked astonished

"Insha Allah, bi iznillah, by Allah's will, Ameenah is going to be a mother for the second time, A'eesh is going to have a lil sis or bro" he said and for a moment I can see happiness reflecting from his eyes. Which was quite heart touching.

"OMA! I'm so happy for you" I hugged her

"Thank you Saleema" she said.

"You two need to rest, you have been out for long fa. I'll be going then" I told the both of them

"Okay saleema, take care" she said and walked into his bedroom, I smiled looking at my Babi

"Congratulations Ameenah's husband" I smiled at him, he frowned a bit grabbing me by my west, contacting my lifeless body to his warm one.

"I prefer the other name" he winked, I glared at him

"Babi you have no idea where we are ko?" I said and he chuckled scooping me up. I gasped looking at him as he walks through the exit and into my side, before I knew it muna living room.

"Yanzu fa" he winked, I pouted smiling

"Ni kam ka sauke ni" I told him avoiding eye contact

"Ai baki isa ba" he laughed softly, I rolled my eyes

"Babi get me down" I told him

"On one condition" he winked and I raised a brow.

"Babi just get me down" I groaned

"I will baby, sabr" he winked.

"Fine what do you want" I asked

"A good night French kiss" he leaned closer and before I know, I am on my feet kissing him back with all love.

"I'll miss you" he said softly after pulling back

"But you have Aunty Ameenah ai" I told him and he smiled

"But I'll miss you" he whispered softly

"Take care of yourself for me" I pecked his lips

"Worry not. Ameenah is there to do that for you" he kissed my cheeks, I looked away

"Why are you telling me this? I know she's going to" I rolled my eyes.

"But you just said that, that I have Ameenah" I reminded

"Fine, but I don't need you to remind me" I sarcastically said

"I am sorry" He hugged me into his broad chest, making my heart brighter.

"I love you" I said burying my head into his chest.
