Chapter 1: Why do i feel like this

Ashly's pov

It all started like a normal day. I got up, got dressed, had my daily insulting letters from my dad my beating from Draco and went to class.
'today's different but I just can't put my finger on it' i thought as I went to my dorm.

I got to my room changed and Laid down on my bed when I opened my letters from mail time today

The first letter was from my father giving me more insults, the second one was what set me off though

Dear, ashly astra we are sorry to inform you that you're mother passed away today in the hospital due to cancer, her final wish was for us to tell you that she loved you so very much and she hopes you live a long and happy life and have fun in school

We are truly sorry for your loss

Attached below is a copy of her will

My mom the only one who loved me was...gone...
Only a memory... deceased.

No, it says she died of cancer how can it be my fault I loved her

You were never there for her

Well you were having the time of your life she got cancer and was getting beaten every day at home

Your right it was my fault, if I was there for her these would never had happened but I wasn't I was out having fun with friends

Out of nowhere my room lights up and next thing I know I am in the hallway behind my group of friends,they don't know I am here what I hear next surprises me

"She's such a baby!"- fake friend 1
"That's because she has a great home and school life"-fake friend 2
"I know right"-fake friend 1
Every one agreed

then I run back to my room without them hearing me, I cried and got to sleep at 6 only to wake up at 6:40.

When it was time to get up however I didn't want to get out of bed I think I stayed in bed longer then I thought because I checked the time to see that i am 30 minutes late so I slowly get up an get dressed.

Snape's pov

Merlin's beard Ashly has always been late but not this late she usually is five to fifteen minutes late but never thirty minutes.

"Have any of you seen ash-" just as I was about finish my sentence ashly walked in

"You're late"I said in a stern voice that would send shivers down anyone's spines

"Sorry professor..."

Hmmm usually she makes an excuse for being late, something's up

Later in the afternoon

Ashly's pov

It 's about time for lunch...eh I'll just skip I think as I walk back to my room,i decided to check my mail.

Hmm what's this

Have you been feeling down, well we can help you just write back to us saying you got this add then within that week you shall receive a quiz fill that out then  send it back to us so we can review your results and send you the proper stuff to deal with it

Dear whoever gets this, I got the add and I want to say I would love to try it. I would like to ask you to send it as soo-

  Before I could finish I herd heavy footsteps coming to my room so I quickly and quietly grabbed my stuff hid it and tucked myself in bed to make it look like I was sleeping , right when the footsteps entered my room they walked up to me.

"Ok, she just fell asleep, stop the search" I heard a male say

You made them worried, that's all you're good at making people worry

'I know' I thought as I felt a warm hand start slowly shaking me.

Snape's pov

I was walking around my classroom watching the kids work when a kid walked in asking if Ashly was in here.

"No, I thought she was with your class"I stated

   "No you're the last class I asked" they replied which worried me for some strange reason but I covered up my worries and asked the kids to continue there work.
  I went to look for her, as I was walking down the halls I ran into Dumbledore and mcgonagall as they explained more of the situation to me apparently she wasn't at lunch and missed two classes.
   We headed to the Slytherin dorms as they looked in the common room I looked in the bedrooms I finished all the rooms except for hers, I started to hear shuffling on the other side of her room as I opened he door, I saw her lying down asleep.
  "Ok, she just fell asleep, stop the search" I yell down to them as I start shaking her to wake her up

Later at 12am

Ashly's pov

I continued the letter,

Dear whoever gets this, I got the add and I want to say I would love to try it. I would like to ask you to send it as soon as possible
