i'd knock on the door
i'd get greeted with a smile
i'd walk in and get toys
oh how i loved dear old grandpas house

He'd put on the tv
we'd put on our favorite show
we'd watch and have a laugh

that familiar scent
of hula hoops and crisps
and sun colas all around
oh how i loved dear old grandpas house

i woke up that one morning
i got told the news
i didn't want to go to school that day
but i did anyways

i miss that old smile
and that familiar scent of hula hoops and crisps
i miss our laughs at our favorite show
oh how i miss dear old grandpas home

i miss you grandpa
i miss you everyday
i will never forget you
i won't let your memory fade away
